The place was clean but the amount of food you get for the price is not worth it. We ordered 1 beef and 1 chicken Suya to go. The spice was clumped on side of the box beef and the chicken still had a bunch of feathers in it?!??
I couldn’t eat it all cause the chicken tasted like nothing due to the spice being all in a clump in a corner of the container. I will not be returning or recommending, it’s sad cause we try to support our own but unfortunately 😕

The flavour of the food was good but for the price I was expecting a lot more. Honestly, $31 for a small portion of turkey, two scoops of rice and some beef is not okay. Hoping the owner makes some changes because the flavours are there but I will not go back till then.

I ordered moin-moin from this restaurant and it was hard, not tasty and was not anything I know what moin-moin is. I left a review of this on the Uber eat app, hoping that honest review would spur the owner to do better but rather he sent a very distasteful response cussing me out.

My worst dining experience in Toronto, hands down—and at a Suya spot, no less! The portions of spicy jollof rice were so meager, I had to wonder if I’d accidentally been served the cook’s leftover lunch.

As for the ambiance? Imagine eating in a makeshift dining room with the aesthetic of a storage closet. The furniture looked like it had been scavenged from a neighbor’s yard sale, mismatched and barely holding together. And the service? The cashier, who also seemed to be the official microwave manager, looked like he’d rather be anywhere else. I couldn’t tell if he was just exhausted, having a rough day, or if cold stares were part of the decor. Either way, it wasn’t the welcoming vibe I’d expected from a Nigerian Suya joint!

I won’t be returning, but if you’re curious, go at your own risk. Praying someone buys this place out and gives it the glow-up it desperately needs—send help!

WORST! I was in the area and really craved suya, upon arrival the attendant was not welcoming AT ALL Secondly when we got the food I thought there was more coming that's how ridiculously small the portion was the rice couldn't even full a child's stomach it was also very stale they only heated it up. The beef suya was freshly done but wasn't so welcoming the Cabbage mix was the one they sell at Walmart smh I will NEVER go back there I really thought it was like the one in Scarborough this one is the best! It's tasty and you get suya for your buck

Beef suya was terrible…

Super disappointing. I got the beef suya, chicken suya and jallof rice. The beef and chicken suya tasted like they just threw the suya spice on it and called it a day. The jallof was was soggy and mushy. Not flavourful at all. Super disappointing.

The service here is great, the beef and goat suya is very flavorful, the best suya I've tasted so far. I will definitely be going back.

I’m familiar with the Weston RD location and was excited to try here being that it’s closer to my home. The meat is tough and tasteless even with the spice. I wouldnt feed this taste bad food to my dog

The owner is a great guy but one of the ladies is simply not interested in being in that cafe to say the least!Always hiding in the back while people come inside and wait for 5-10 minutes on so many occasions only to have to leave empty handedOr you try to call to place a order& she will never pickup the phone, but once you arrive she will rudely answer your questions in regards to her not willing to offer service over the phone! The younger lady however is so polite and willing to help with food preparations.Lately the food hasn’t been close to FRESH!! ( Dried up burnt up flavorles)Also the sign above the store has been out of commission for years and was hard to say if they were actually in buisness.Perhaps it’s a good idea to get your act together as you now have more competition across the street plus Suya city around a few blocks

This is by far the worst "suya" I have had. I make better suya at home compared to an establishment advertised for suya.. Not one smoke or grill was involved in the preparation of anything here.. this was all fried meat with suya spice rubbed.. I came from Atl and ordered 1 of each from the menu to patronize suya spot. The fried rice was spoiled and rewarmed with curry but still smelled bad and we could not eat it. The assorted meat was terrible and all pieces were hard and dry.. the goat and beef suya were fried not smoked or grilled. Only thing that tasted ok the Jollof after spending $148. The Attendant was not pleasant and barely smiled. Asked about the sauce and spice if they were in the sealed bag when I got there, she said with an attitude "the order is in there the way you placed it on Uber eats" . At this point I just left and hoped for the best.. I repeat...I WILL NEVER BE BACK OR REFER ANYONE HERE. Terrible service and food.. I FELT ROBBED.......

Absolutely trash. They only gave me like 5 pieces of goat meat for Suya. My food was also cold as well….. never again. Waste of my money.
