I go to the tea room at least once a year for a variety of occasions: Mother’s Day, women’s day, birthdays, family day, etc. I have been to other places and the Tea Room is by far the best in all respects. The food, kind and attentive/thoughtful service, ambiance. Thank you the Tea Room for always providing such a wonderful and delightful experience. I finally am leaving a very well deserved review!!

Incredible high tea. I loved the balance of savoury and sweet. We had the christmas high tea and it was worth it. The salad was so yummy. We loved it all. From begining to end. Can't wait to go again. Loved the little surprise ornament to take home! The hot cider was so yum!!!!

Such a cute spot. I love coming here alone to enjoy tea and scones while I read or write. Or to have lunch with a friend. Service is always great and quick. Everything I’ve tried so far has been tasty. Lots of women dinning here makes the place feel cozy and welcoming for “girl time”. Make sure you book a reservation as it can easily fill up.

I went with my sister & 2 life-long friends for high tea at The Tea Room yesterday (Oct. 19, 2025) to celebrate my 60th birthday. None of us had ever been there before, but we were all quite impressed with the food, teas, service & atmosphere. It’s definitely a place we would recommend & go back there ourselves. We were lucky enough to have the whole front room to ourselves. It was so private & cozy in front of the decorative fireplace (great for pics). We started off with tea & then the salad with their house dressing. This salad is to die for! Then, the tiers of scones, finger sandwiches, mini quiche & desserts. Everything was perfect! At the end, I even got a surprise birthday treat, which was totally unexpected. We all really enjoyed our high tea experience at The Tea Room.
This place is overpriced for what you get. High tea should have two scones!! The meager sandwiches and meager desserts on the tier are very disappointing! Don’t waste your time here. Also you don’t get clotted cream but whipped cream with the scone. It is NOT worth 45$ for what you pay. This place is horrible and has changed. Very meager portions!! The tea sandwiches were bite size they were not traditionally made! So be aware it’s like an appetizer. Never going back here.

Not the highest quality high tea for the $40 value. The dining area needs to be with music that fits the English traditional ambiance.Air condition or humidifier right by a guest’s table doesn’t scream elegance. For the same price Dragon Pearl’s Asian high tea or slightly higher at Old Mill is worth the out of way drive from west end. More selection for the price and kitchen staff noise doesn’t help the ambiance.

Nothing but amazing service and a friendly atmosphere. The raspberry vinegrette dressing is absolutely delicious and ending your meal with a raspberry pie is a must. I am a repeat customer and will always recommend this place for anyone visiting the city. Raspberry Pie Rules!!!!! Pie man Out!!!
