I have been going to this tea room for lunch for many years. One of the best in my opinion. I usually order from the menu and have tried just about everything. The scones are amazing and usually preorder some to take home. Reservations a must as they are very busy especially around the holidays.

Vegetarian options: They do have some vegetarian options too.

Dietary restrictions: They do have some gf options.

Went there with a friend of mine.
We were disappointed in the sandwiches which were dry.
The chicken salad was good with cranberries and apricots. However, the scones were dry and flat not light and fluffy.
The service was very good as was the tea.

Great vibes and service, friendly and attentive staff who constantly check if my tea pot needs refilling.
The ham & asparagus crepe was absolutely beautiful and the hollandaise sauce has a silky and velvety consistency.
I had a good time relaxing with a fruitful cup of green tea. The scone was also delightful, soft and tender on the inside.

Made a reservation for afternoon tea which included quiche and salad but misunderstanding with the server and we just got a lunch sized portion of quiche and salad.

Even though you have to reserve the afternoon tea make sure you confirm with your server when seated that you are here for tea.

Disappointing experience!

The food and service were fine, but every time I came in, I always heard the managers rudely talking to the servers and cashiers.

**Food Quality:** The food was very good. The scone, warm and savory, was not to be missed. It came served with cream cheese and jam—a delightful combination.

**High Tea Experience:** We started with a fresh salad during our high tea. The blueberries and strawberries added a summery touch. The homemade dressing was sweet and flavorful, which I appreciated as I like sweet salad dressings.

**Service:** The staff was attentive, asking multiple times if we wanted takeout. However, we decided to stay and finish our meal.

**Ambiance:** The retro historic venue exuded charm, but it could get a bit crowded. I experienced a few chair collisions when people passed by.

**Tea Enthusiast's Store:** They had an array of tea-related items for sale at the front.

The only setback was the high price. Overall, it was a delightful spot for tea lovers!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tea room, for a high tea experience, and it was truly delightful. The ambiance was elegant yet cozy, with a charming decor that set the perfect backdrop for a relaxing afternoon. The service was impeccable—attentive and friendly without being intrusive.

The selection of teas was impressive, offering a range of flavors from classic blends to unique, aromatic infusions. Each tea was served at the perfect temperature, allowing the full spectrum of flavors to shine. The food was equally outstanding. The assortment of finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and delicate pastries were not only beautifully presented but also deliciously crafted. Each bite was a testament to the care and attention put into the preparation.

We found the staff inpatient and borderline rude. We had a seating a group of 10. They wouldn't even give us any leeway for time frame, saying seating was over at 12:45 and they had another table coming at 1. I don't know why you would give yourself 15 mins to clean and reorganize after a group of 10 but, they also I terupted me to leave the table prior to the 12:45 mark to pay the bill. I thought that was very tacky. Also they took a deposit and instead of subtracting the deposit from the 500 bill total they did 2 separate transactions. All 10 guests felt the same way and we are sad we didn't go with the mill for our high tea and gave the tea room a chance.

I decided to bring my daughter here as this was our favourite place to come when she was younger. It had been six years since we had dined in. This place has changed and not for the better. Our waitress took 15 mins to approach us and when she did she seemed like she was in a rush. Really bizarre moment was when she asked if my daughter and I wanted separate bills. My daughter is a child so I’m not sure what that was about. My daughter’s food came well in advance of mine even though I was only ordering a salad. When it did come it had a ton of brown lettuce and was really small, smaller than it was six years ago even though the price had increased. My daughter order the high tea and only ate half of everything that was on it. The quiche had a bad taste and the deserts were lacking, so were the sandwiches. Every time my waitress came over to drop something off we would say thank you and she’d never say you’re welcome or smile. She also never asked us how everything was? However, I was asked by the cashier, when I was leaving, I responded with “it was alright, this place has changed” she never followed up, so I’m not sure why you even ask? The vibe is different, the food is stale, the service is lacking. We won’t be coming back. We paid $83 including tip and had to go eat after somewhere else because we were starving and we are not even big eaters.

My first high tea experience was lovely. Reservations are 100% recommended if you want high tea. It's a small seating space. I loved the atmosphere. It was cozy!
Only thing that felt off was a salmon and goat cheese tart that didn't feel like it went with the rest of the selection. Just a plain goat cheese tart would have been sufficient.
Blueberry scone was to die for. The tea selection is unmatched. I had the Lady Gray and it did not disappoint. We all enjoyed here and will be back many times!
Get here before your reservation to get parking behind the house. It's a small lot but has about 12 spots.

I have so many fond memories of this charming place! I grew up in Streetsville. This is where we came for birthday celebrations and my baby shower. Years later I wanted to introduce my daughters to proper afternoon tea. The girls insisted on wearing their Disney princess dresses! In my excitement, I forgot to make reservations, so we arrived and were turned away. I guess the manager saw us walking away, and quickly called us back. They cleared a display table in the window just for me and my girls! I will always remember watching my daughters dressed as princesses sipping iced tea from pretty cups that day! Thank you

I was so looking forward to High Tea at the Tea Room to celebrate my aunts 80th birthday but was disappointed in how they acknowledged this milestone. For the money paid close to $200 for three people the birthday celebration plate was a joke. I felt they could have done better. They are the one that asked any special occasion and said they do something for birthdays but I was embarrassed by the result. Half a strawberry with a candle…….utter joke!

This restaurant has lovely decor and ambiance. They have a varied menu of wonderful homemade food and a nice selection of teas. Their gift shop has a beautiful selection of tea pots and decor as well as teas you can purchase. They do accept reservations, which I do recommend because they fill up quickly. It’s a perfect place for a special occasion or lunch with friends. When you finish at the restaurant, make sure to take a stroll through town and visit some of the shops. It a very nice way to spend an afternoon.
