The Wilcox Gastropub: Takeout, Delivery and Dine-In

Oysters small and overpriced, burger was as thin as a McDonalds burger, and entree selection is limited. Acoustics terrible to have a private conversation. Don't recommend.

Great place, great environment and decor; probably the best in the area. The food was nothing special but the rest of the rexperience was great.

Very nice place to meet with friends or go with your family. The atmosphere is fantastic. It has two levels plus a terrace. Delicious appetizer options to share, an interesting variety on entrees and a lot of good drinks. The service is excellent and the location, at Hurontario and Eglinton, very convenient. I do recommend this Pub.

Discovered this hidden gem for a late dinner post flight and happily returned with a group the next day. The char was excellent, possibly the best east coast oysters ive had and the Japanese carbonara was creative and delicious! Veronica slung incredible cocktails and the service was top notch 👌

Nice area, ambience and venue for a night out. However, the last couple of times I’ve been here, the food has not been great and service inattentive. It’s different from what I remember from a few years ago and of course prices are higher while the quality has gone down.

Beautiful place with good service and the food was mostly good but a little overpriced for only being AAA grade local meat I expected a little more from a place like that

Wow! We loved our meal here! The tartare was different, very delicate, delicious. The steak frite was generous, very well cooked and the sauce was to die for. The service was very good as well. A very nice place.

My husband, our 1.5-year-old daughter, and I visited The Wilcox Gastropub for a Mother’s Day dinner, and we had a wonderful experience. The service was outstanding, and the food exceeded our expectations. We started with the truffle fries and KFC—both were delicious. For our mains, I had the Japanese Carbonara, while my husband enjoyed the Pan-Seared Arctic Char. We finished with the posset for dessert, which was a perfect end to the meal. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared.

The only thing I would have liked to see is a dedicated kids menu.

Aside from that, everything was excellent. We’d definitely return and highly recommend it to others.
