We went there and have a tofu bento and chicken bento. The service was superb. The foods was okay. The girl who served us, was very polite and care about customer. She always ask and ready to check whether we are satisfied or not. The waitress who served us is also pretty and always have smile in her face. Cute girl..

Today, Sept 2023, we went again here. But the waitress very fast taking our empty plates. After finishing our meals and put the chopsticks, within 1 minutes, the waitress took our plates. Too fast.
In Dec 2024, we had lunch again here. This time we ordered three menus, and the Korean waitress also nicely offered us bluefin tuna with special price.

I recently ordered takeout from Tomo Sushi and was unfortunately very disappointed with the quality especially at the price point!
We got the VIP sashimi tray that included Otoro. Unfortunately the Otoro was barely palatable and had a very strong “fishy” taste, indicating that it was not fresh / had gone bad. The rest of the sashimi was hit or miss (some were quite fresh others again on the brink of going bad and difficult to stomach). For the price (25 pieces for 125 dollars), I expected a lot more.
I also got two of their signature rolls - the gold dragon roll and the holy moly roll. They did taste fairly good however were not made very well. Each piece was falling apart when we tried to pick it up with chopsticks. Sushi rice quality was also just ok.
Overall, I would strongly suggest going to Kaze sushi for better value and quality. Or if you’re willing to go make the trip, go to Taro’s Fish in North York.
