really disappointing coming here when it says it’s open and they tell me it’s cleaning day so they’re not serving for another 2 hours… should probably adjust your hours online if that’s the case no?

I recently visited this bubble tea shop and ordered the #7 Lychee Juice Dragon. I asked the cashier about the drink and she said it included lychee pieces - so I decided not to order any toppings. But to my disappointment, there were none in the drink. When I asked, I was told the tiny bits at the bottom were the lychee pieces, which was quite misleading. I wanted to at least enjoy my drink so I ended up paying an extra $2 for “lychee topping,” which felt disingenuous… why say the drink has lychee pieces only to charge additional to get the drink you want? This kind of upselling should be communicated clearly upfront. It wasn’t just me—two other customers had the same issue and had to add toppings after their drink was already made and they took a very very disappointing taste. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and with so many better bubble tea spots around, I won’t be returning. I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but I want to help others avoid the same letdown. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

I used to be a big fan of Tru Tea.. till I received this sad excuse for a matcha latte. They must’ve used 1/100th of a teaspoon worth of matcha for this.. it’s basically white. It’s the same color if not paler than my milk tea. It tastes like sour strawberries, water and milk.

I had a really disappointing first experience at Tru. I ordered the Taro Taro Milk, and unfortunately, it didn’t taste anything like taro. The flavor was off, and even though I got the small size, it felt like a waste because the taste just wasn’t right. Definitely not what I expected.

Went there last night as it was the only place open. The cashier had good attitude, the tea tasted good too. However the kicker is that where were chunks of plastic in the tea! Black pieces of plastic and many of them. Had to discard the drink. I think their blender is falling apart.

This is their “less ice” option. There was no option for no ice. Do not buy from these scammers, trash absolute trash.
I appreciate the service, especially it’s fascinating to know they are open till 2 AM … I would like to special Jimmy, who was of great assistance and provided excellent service. Thank you.

Ordered the Taro tea and was seriously disappointed. We selected the ‘less ice’ option and the cup was 70% ice, with just 4 sips of the drink. the Taro tea comes with lychee jelly which was missing. Honestly not even worth the buy one get one drink deal, let alone the full price.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE, ordered a taro tea from uber eats, and put in less ice, they filled the whole drink with big chunks of ice cubes and the drink was hardly in there maybe 3 sips… cheap and expensive do not buy and becareful
