one of the best Japanese food I had, highly recommended
A little pricy but the matcha sweets there are so authentic and good!
First time to a Japanese desert shop.. Liked the Macha soft serve. I took a parafait, first attempt had a hair in it.. I noticed it when I sat outside seating area.. Went back inside and showed them, and they promptly gave me a new serving.. Check before you leave to avoid going back to store..
Matcha lovers needs to check out this super cute Japanese matcha desserts! Sakura parfait with amazing combo of crunchy roasted brown rice, red bean paste, creamy bittersweet matcha soft serve on top, and decorated with Shiratama Mochi and the adorable Sakura cookieTsujiri is the place to find all kinds of amazing japanese matcha desserts, love their soft serves ice cream and their tea drinks too.Matcha Sakura Parfait - $7.50
If you love matcha, you would love this place! Pure matcha might be a bit too bitter+not sweet enough for people who are not used to it. Make sure to order something with sweet things or sugar added if you don't like the bitterness. Oh, definitely try their matcha mochi, so soft and creamy
Tastes great, I tried the one with soft Vanilla ice cream on top, I tasted the one green tea ice-cream, but liked the Vanilla more. The drink under the ice-cream was Mango flavored. I do recommend trying it, the place is well decorated gives you an Asian feel, it's also very elegant and clean. The only reason why I didn't give them full grade is the price, in my opinion it's too high.
Awesomely bitter! If you love matcha and live Japanese this is the place for you. Rare to find a combination of authentic pop mainstream classy modern foodie goodness. Also if you haven't tried the Japanese citrus Yuzu items it may be a new favorite waiting to be discovered.
Im a matcha lover. So this place can blow up my mood. I really love the matcha soft ice cream.
If you love green tea or matcha flavoured things then you'll love Tsujiri, if not then this won't be the place for you. Most of the drinks are matcha/green tea, but they have some pretty great desserts to try out. The only dessert that I personally didn't quite enjoy too much was their black sesame cake. I only didn't like it cuz it wasn't that great considering the price, but all the other desserts are definitely worth it.
Food: • The matcha soft serve was absolutely delicious. The matcha taste comes through very strongly and because of this it was not very sweet but just perfect and smooth. It has a great texture and very creamy. Perfect for a hot day but also anything really. • The Sakura Parfait was unique and very delicious. From the bottom to the top of the parfait you will find crunchy roasted brown rice, a thick layer of red bean, matcha soft serve, a chestnut, mochi and a cherry blossom cookie to top it off. The parfait is sweet, bitter, chewy, cold; an array of textures and flavors. Not too sweet but also not too bitter. Just perfect in my opinion. • A lot of times the taste of matcha especially strong ones can come across bitter if you are not used to it. Because of this, their desserts and drinks have different matcha levels you can choose from so that you can ease your way into the dishes. • 5/5Atmosphere: • It is a small shop with no seats available in it. Since it is in Square One mall and next to other eateries, there are communal seating outside the shop. Full Review: thelocalepicure.caInstagram: @thelocalepicure

Matcha is not everyone's cup of tea it is a has a very strong taste but is full of antioxidants and recommenced if you are not big on sweet. The soft serve ice cream I had been seeing several people with while passing through the mall so I gave it a try it is the real matcha from Kyoto which is a plus when it's authentic the other small bites are enticing. I got quite a bit for $6.50 also has the old slush drink it was just as mouth watering very refreshing when I want something cold!
