From the moment you arrive into the cosy place you are greeted by a hostess that actually sets the positive vibes. The place is nicely decorated and staff is super nice and attentive. Food is beyond any expectations and portions are plentiful. I took some food photos but its hard to explain how everything was delicious. Overall 6 stars 6/5. It's going to set the bar of service to next level for everyone else as this is what excellence in Canadian restorant dining is about.

Hi thereMy name is Dennis From Avas,I have to say, the food and experience was 100% yesterday at TJCI like to give real feedback because that is what every business owner needs to hearFrom the great drinks, to the amazing food, to our server Victoria, not to mention the presence of management being there not just looking so sharp but also being 100% of a true gentlemen and so professional was just an amazing combination.Now that the place has a new fresh look these guys are just gonna crush it, please continue to do exactly what you’re doing cause it’s working very well!!

Food was good, competitively priced, atmosphere and decor was on point.Service was terrible. We were on bar side, took us 15 minutes for our server to stop by the table after we were seated. Took another 40 minutes to get food. Took the hostess asking us if we'd like to go boxes to be able to get our bills. Server checked in all of 3 times (drink order, food order, cheques) during the entirety of our visit.The caveat is that she was also bartender, so she was fairly busy. However if you're too busy to attend your tables, you shouldn't be taking them on and have another person attending those tables.

Super disappointed. We reserved for a small birthday dinner. A small table of 6 was seemingly too tall a task for them to handle. They missed one person's complete order. We asked for tobassco 5 times, they served it almost half way into dinner and immediately came back asking for it, as if there was only a bottle of tobaacoo at the restaurant. I called them 3 times ahead of time to ensure that they bring out a birthday dessert at the end. Then I reminded them 3 times while we were at the venue. They served 3 birthday desserts to our adjacent table but not a single order at our table. We wanted to pay separately and simple division with 3 seemed like an arduous task for them. For the buck they charge, it was worst service ever. Our waitress had no idea who order what and when asked about the birthday dessert she kept repeating "I have no idea what you are talking about".

Ordered a California top sirloin for 42.98 before tax any 2.99 dollars gravy. Mushroom 2 dollar.Steak is definitely not defrosted before it’s grilled, there is a picture show how the meat isn’t smooth it taste like sand its extremely minced.The most expensive thing we’ve ordered taste the worse.Will not come again

Almost $30 for burger + fries...insane prices. Nice restaurant atmosphere, but way too expensive.
We went twice on our one week stay. So good the first time we had to go back! Great friendly casual atmosphere and fantastic food!!

We came here for my birthday dinner and service wasn't the best. Our server wasn't friendly and welcoming. We didn't catch his name but he was of Asian/ Chinese origin. He gave more attention to the table behind us. He forgot our drinks and we had to remind him. He never checked on us and we had to somehow get his attention if we needed anything. It wasn't busy either so I couldn't understand why he wasn't proactive. I had asked another server for a plastic cup for my daughter to use and she never came back with it although she walked by many times. We've had better service at other restaurants. I would pick a different location to have a better well-rounded experience. Regardless I had a good time with my loved ones and we all enjoyed the food.
