Come here for a drink, the bar staff are super friendly and diligent at checking in on you. The kitchen however is deplorable. Ive never had a worse burger in my life than the beef mushroom burger. The mushrooms were chewy and even the fries were over cooked and disappointing. How do you screw up fries?! Anyways again I cant say enough good things about the bar and servers but everyone in the kitchen should be fired and replaced immediately

Service is the only reason this experience got a 3 overall. The chimichurri steak was the worst steak I’ve had. It was drowning in the sauce, couldn’t taste the meat and the texture didn’t feel like steak eating it.
Waiter was fantastic, he was very friendly and responsive with a big smile. He saved this rating otherwise overall this was a 1 or 2.
Had low expectations for an airport steak, some other reviews rated the steak 5/5 but based on the pics they had the same steak I did and it was inedible, I didn’t finish it.

I was under impression wine is served in the glass wine!!
Was I ever wrong!! Not at the Twist.
This is why it is called the Twist!!!
It must be my European backgound to have those expectations.
Ordered beef Curry. Beef hard didn't seem fresh but not bad. Fast service though.

Having spent a month in Europe, eating in fine restaurants, I wasn’t holding out much hope for the mussels in the Toronto airport. They were very very well prepared. Came with a large piece of artisan bread. And being a bit of a mussels snob, I can honestly say these passed with flying colours. As well, the service was excellent.

The service here is impeccable. Super kind, thoughtful, organized. Gluten free? No problem. Empty water bottle? No problem (they'll ask you if you want it refilled). Airport delays suck but if you spend your time here you will feel welcome and seen.

Food was incredibly bland. I got the fired chicken burger and fries. The burger was supposed to have an apple smoked bbq sauce but instead it was 3 blobs of it on the plate.. none on the burger, and it was supposed to have a lemon coleslaw vinegrette, which was nonexistent flavour/ on the burger. The fries were supposed to have some sweet chili seasoning but that covered about 5 fries and all were undercooked. Overall tasted like there was zero seasoning on any of it (not even salt). The wine I ordered came in a regular water cup.
The only good thing was an attentive waiter who was friendly. Crazily over priced for what was given. Would have rather went to A&W.

Honestly some of the nicest, friendliest staff I have ever come across in an airport restaurant. Thanks ladies! Also, the pastrami sandwich was very good.
The beer was cold. Food was blah..
Service was great!

Food was cold and it was moderately busy meaning one would assume it’s prepared for order. The fries were cold and we asked for a new order and said no rush if they needed to recook - swear i got the same cold order back. My burger and my mom’s were both luke warm - super disappointing for what you pay and expect. Would have been cheaper and hotter to get A&W across the way.
Service was friendly.

Passed through Toronto airport many times and kept looking at this restaurant and finally gave it a try. Nice atmosphere, met by nice server that showed me to a seat and unfortunately downhill from there. Ordered a chicken sandwich with the server assigned to my table and she forgot the order on the way to her console. She returned to my table and asked if I had ordered chicken and fries which I agreed not realizing that just chicken came as an option as the menu was taken away very quickly. What turned up at my table was two pieces of chicken and a bowl of fries. The chicken was overcooked and flavorless, the fries were reasonable. I didn't complain about the food but a manager came to the table and apologized as I had not finished the chicken. I paid for the chicken sandwich I had ordered and left. Sorry but won't be trying again.

Definitely a spot to consider should you have a stopover in Pearson T1. Menu is not complicated, but offers a nice mix of options. The portion sizes are generous, so represent good value compared to other food vendors at this airport. The staff were all really friendly and kind. I had the skirt steak with mashed sweet potato...delicious! To the ownership: don't change a thing...you have a winning formula!
