Ordered Steak Frite today... It was too charred and had barely any taste. They need to hire new chefs.Only good takeaway was the restaurant has nice atmosphere and service is pretty good.

The server was great, but the calamari was inedible, and the truffle fries were not fresh and tasteless. The calamari were removed from my bill, but my lunch time was limited, and I left dissatisfied and hungry. Will not be back.
Good food and service would return. Was disappointed they ran out of Steam Whistle beer at 6 pm on a Friday.Vegetarian options: My wife enjoyed the veggie burger.Parking: Nearby, lots of parking

Our server was really great. Very precise and thoughtful. Unfortunately our meals were not very good. I had a burger with fries, and others had the grilled chicken ceasar salad. I appreciate the char broiling of the burgers and chicken, but all had deep black grill marks thar were burnt to the point of bitter charing. The fries for all meals were ice cold. The chicken on the ceasar was covered in bbq sauce in a way almost to hide the burnt chicken. Won't be going back.

Restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night, but service was extremely slow. Server was super friendly, but very slow and not very attentive. Empty drinks, order app and took 15mins to come tell us that the calamari is not good enough to serve, so had to order something else. Got the app minutes before the main entree. Chicken vindaloo was terrible. Cold Naan and overly spicy with no other flavor. Kids burger was really good and their fries are good. Definitely would not return though.
Server was lovely- I think his name was Alex. Food presentation was good. However, food was just meh....typical Gordon Foods fare. Burger was dry, bacon on it was overcooked and truffle fries were REALLY soggy. I wouldn't rush back.

Our waitress was excellent! A little disappointing was just the choice of beers which is more limited now, but also some beers were not available. Our colleague's drink had too much ice, though he asked for less.

We got the shrimp tacos and firecrackers to start. Shrimp tacos were awful but, firecrackers were pretty good. We had the chicken sandwich and tuna poke as mains which were both whatever. I do have to say that the owner/head chef needs to know that a Poke means marinated fish and rice with “extras” (ex. seaweed, corn etc) and it is mixed together after. The tuna poke we got was tuna, rice and tortilla chips which absolutely was not what we expected and was not seasoned well. The truffle parm fries were good. I know the location isn’t the best but vamp it up with better food at least. The service was A+ and probably the only thing we liked.

Had the absolute best experience at this Union Social Eatery…Her server, Stacey and as sweet and attentive …and when I didn’t eat my steak ( because it wasn’t cooked medium-rare)…Brianna, the manager was apologetic and wanted to resolved the situation so that I leave ‘a happy customer’…Absolute great experience!! I will definitely be back for the CUSTOMER SERVICE alone . Especially in these hard times, where we all want to spend our disposable money wisely …Having a great staff be attentive , and arm and friendly makes you want to be a loyal customer …Thanks again STACEY and BRIANNA…I’ll be back and hope to bump into you ladies again to Thank You for an experience I’ll never forget.!!
