Watan Kabob - Matheson

Solid Afghan grill no matter when you go, been coming here for the last 5 years or so, and have always had a great meal.

Menu is pretty extensive, lots of meat, chicken, fish option served as a dinner (with rice, salad and naan) or just with (salad and naan).

Pictured here are the chicken chaaplee salad and naan, and the watan fish with salad and naan.

Bouranni, not pictured here is always a go to as well.

Excellent food, quantity and quality. Reasonable price $$. Looking for ambience and some privacy, not the place but looking for nice Afghani cuisine, it's the place to go to.

Everything about this place is worth it! The food mouthwatering and very tasty, staff service fantastic, atmosphere beautiful, food portions are very worth for what you are charged and if I had choice of 10/10 stars than this place definitely deserves it!

I had an amazing experience at Watan Kabob! I ordered the lamb shank with rice along with a pineapple Fanta, and everything was excellent. The lamb shank was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and full of rich flavor. The rice paired so well with it and was cooked just right. On top of the great food, the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend—definitely coming back!

I have been coming here for years. Staff mannerism needs to be addressed and trained. Don’t talk to people like they came to a third world country pick up UN rations. From the moment we walked in, the tone of speaking is disrespectful and not fit for food industry.

Please train the staffs on how to behave with customers.

I am a permanent customer at Watan Kebab. Today, I ordered 3 plates. They charged me for them, and after I drove home, I only had 2 plates. I can't drive back. This is the first time I've had this problem with Watan Kebab.
