Great ceviche! Fresh, flavorful, and the perfect amount of lemon. It was just a touch salty for my taste, but still absolutely delicious!

Unfortunately not the sort of food I expected. I ordered the rotisserie chicken that was served on a bed of fries. Almost zero seasoning got the chicken which certainly wasn’t rotisserie style at all and the fries were cooked from frozen. We also ordered the tamales and after having tried Cuban, Mexican, and Filipino Tamales, I can assure this was the worst ever. We couldn’t take two bites because of a terrible taste. Will not return back at all and not a good representation of Peruvian food. Overpriced too if I can say a small piece of chicken on a bed of fries at $20

What an amazing restaurant! Don't let the small footprint, the simple set-up fool you, behind the simplicity is an outstanding eatery that offers superb cerviche and other Peruvian dishes.

The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was authentic and the portions were generous. The cerviche hit all the right notes, taste, texture, sauce, and ingredients.

The menu is simple but it has all the right dishes that represent the Peruvian favourites.

This is a great little place!

Never again !! This people do not how to prep Peruvian food !!! No only that they lie to Canadians try to said the papa a la huancaina is at frozen plate!! And you must eat it like this!! I’m Peruvian citizen and eat in Peru all the time and never eat this dish cold frozen potatoes !!
If you want to be sick go there and eat!!
The reason they ask you ta paid before service is because if you don’t like there food is to late they already charge you for something is very bad for your health !! Keep your food and serve it to people

I got the seafood mixto. My first time trying this cuisine. This dish was pricey but fresh and delicious. I love the flavours in it and the unique mix of flavours. I wanna come back in the future and try other dishes.

The lady was nice and helpful but seemed a little impatient when asking questions about the dishes on the menu. To someone new to the cuisine, being patient and explaining all the different options/dishes can encourage customers to order more + come back again.

I was happy to see they had halal options for chicken and beef although they have no halal certificate when I asked.

Trying Peruvian food for the first time we ordered just a few items but enjoyed them all. It's a small place with a big heart. The flavours were new to us but authentic. The crispy sea food platter was good but my favourite was the beef stew. Tender, juicy and well seasoned.
The Inca Kola was interested and I could taste vanilla.

Wavey Ceviches is like a little piece of Peru in Mississauga! The flavors are authentically Peruvian, with ceviches, lomo saltado, and chaufa all being excellent. If you have a sweet tooth, I highly recommend the mini alfajores—they’re heavenly! The place is small, but the food and service are well worth the visit, even if you have to wait for a table.

Wavey Ceviches offers a welcoming atmosphere with efficient and friendly service. The clean and tidy environment enhances the dining experience. The Arroz Chaufa de mariscos and empanada de carne were enjoyable, along with the delicious crema volteada dessert paired with a Maracuya drink. However, the lack of wheelchair accessibility and limited interior space may pose challenges for those with disabilities. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant provides a lovely introduction to Peruvian cuisine. I'll be back...PS: I used their washroom and had a good chuckle

I was born and raised in Peru, so I have a deep understanding of how each traditional dish should taste. Since moving to Canada, I've explored every Peruvian restaurant in the Greater Toronto Area, but none have matched the authenticity and flavor of Wavey Ceviches. Luis, the owner pours his heart into every dish he serves, and it shows. Every bite of his food and specially his Tilapia Ceviche transports me back to Peru, offering a taste of home that is truly unparalleled. I hope to see this restaurant continue to thrive and expand, as we need more Wavey Ceviches in Canada and beyond.

Had the most delicious Peruvian cuisine ??
Never frozen all made fresh. Tried some of their classic signature dishes like Papa a la Huancaína, a classic Peruvian appetizer featuring boiled yellow potatoes topped with a creamy, mild Huancaína sauce made from queso fresco. Along with Ceviche Mixto, a refreshing Peruvian dish made with a variety of seafood like shrimp, calamari, fish, and mussels. Ceviche Mixto, served with sides like sweet potato and roasted corn, balancing the dish's acidity. And Tallarin saltado de pollo, stir fried noodles with chicken & tomatoes. Insanely delicious ?
Highly recommended for authentic taste of Peruvian food and very fresh flavours & taste.
They serve seafood and halal chicken.
Will update with rest of the ingredients.
Beef I was told isn’t halal!*
