Horrible customer service… I was in the middle of ordering and she took someone else’s order. She also tried to charge me more because she could tell it was my first time

I liked this place and was a frequent customer buying their ho-fan noodle dishes. Their noodles are quite good and very reasonably priced for a very satisfying portion.
Unfortunately, the last time I visited, I was greeted by a closed shutter and paper temporarily closed sign.
Tonight, I arrived and a young girl was working the front counter instead of the usual nice older lady who is always nice. I was rather bluntly informed they’re very busy and there would be a 25min wait.
That’s two strikes for two attempted visits. I don’t get here as often as I’d like these days. But I was always recognized and treated like a very welcome repeat customer. Clearly this younger staffer doesn’t have the same appreciation for the impact of a friendly greeting and smile. Especially before you’re going to drop a bombshell like a long wait.
I didn’t have that long to wait. Not sure when I’ll next visit after a pair of noodle-less visits.

I love an old school Chinese food court takeway
Been going to this place for almost a decade. Authentic Chinese food, and worth the price. The food court is generally pretty clean

Delicious cantonese comfort food at an affordable price. This is probably the cheapest place in town to get tasty chinese food. I especially liked the chicken wings. They were ultra crispy and served piping hot. Best of all they were $8 for 10 big wings. Best deal on wings in the city.

Fried noodles are priced between $8 and $12. This era is actually really bad. The taste is just average. You really don’t need to be so picky.

Unbelievably disappointed, the noodles are not cooked and they’re hard as a rock. Might as well eat raw noodles…

They make every dish fresh here. Quality is so so but the portions are very generous. Fresh food. They have a broad range on their menu.
Vegetarian options: Yes, plenty of choices.
Dietary restrictions: Broad range of menu, they make everything fresh so you can ask them to customize for you.

The girl that works at the front is a real goof, absolutely no customer skill. Rude and ignorant.
