Servers will bring you water bottles without asking. We assumed it was free since they didn’t provide tap water in a dine in restaurant? To our surprise bill came and they had charged us for these bottles
Server also seemed inattentive and not friendly. We were there at night, Would not recommend this place not sure why it has such high reviews
EDIT: the owner just responded to this post telling me I’m lying to bring down their high reviews.. perfect example of their unprofessional behaviour. If I wanted to bring the reviews down by lying I wouldn’t give the food a 3 star.. if the bottled water was a mistake by the server, then as a business owner you should APOLOGIZE instead of trying to call customers on here liars.. what a weird unprofessional restaurant I’d never recommend anyone go here

The Chicken Mandi was flavorful, with tender chicken. Not Spicy everyone can try. The restaurant had a warm, inviting ambiance and friendly staff. Highly recommend this spot for a memorable dining experience !

This place serves some of the best Chicken Mandi and Beef Adana in the area. The flavors are rich and satisfying, with the chicken Mandi perfectly spiced and aromatic, and the Beef Adana juicy and flavorful. However, the chicken can occasionally be a bit undercooked, so it's worth checking before digging in. One standout is their house green hot sauce.

By far the best chicken mandi that I have ever tasted in Canada. The chicken tastes like it was charcoal grilled and yet it also maintains its juiciness with a zesty lemon flavor. I am so glad that I finally found my go-to restaurant for mandi after years of searching for the best place that makes chicken mandi. This is the closest thing to a BBQ chicken mandi/mathbi that you would find in the Middle East. 5/5.

Not real Mandi. Big raxk of over charcoaled meat and not soft . Chicken was not completely cooked. They offered no solutions assuming it was ok or didn't have proof. I left the meal as u see it in the pics.

A big thank you to Xawaash for making my dream celebration come true! I planned a gathering of 30+ people to celebrate my Master’s graduation, and with the help of Layla, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Layla was extremely communicative and responsive to every inquiry I had, always responding right away. The customer service was impeccable. My guests couldn’t stop raving about the food and the amazing service from the wait staff. The whole evening was a 100/10! Thank you, Xawaash and Layla, for helping me curate such a memorable event for myself and my guests. I would highly recommend Xawaash for any celebration or dinner you’re planning to host

Very nice food and great service
I've known of this place since it opened. Anytime I'm in the area I like to grab some samosas and a upside down pineapple cake. The last few times I've stopped by, I've noticed that the quality and portion size of their samosa has decreased. The portion size is smaller and the price is higher. There hardly isn't enough meat in them, and they have put more onions in it to make up for the lack of meat. We all notice what you've done! Same goes for the cake size, it's a lot smaller than what it use to be and it's gone up in price. How can you justify charging almost $7 for a slice of cake. It's absolutely crazy. If I can suggest anything to this restaurant, please go back to your original ways of making things. It's a somali restaurant but the rice is being made in a rice cooker? How is that traditional somali rice. And there's too many fake flowers. Less is more. Not sure who is your interior decorator but they've made the place look ugly and tacky. Like I said, less is more and how it looked before all the flowers, gave the restaurant a more modern feel.

Food is great, but it doesn’t make sense when they charge you extra for a small container of sauce when the order is a take-out.

Their chicken mandi is the best on this planet!!! And their lamb mandi is great too.
The customer service is the best that I've seen. Gagan really takes care of her customers and ensures that everything is made according to their needs, she's literally the best.
I keep coming here again and again, food quality and quantity always consistent.
