Went here last night for my husbands birthday because we’ve always loved Zorros. Tonight was absolutely horrific and will never go back. My husband wanted the prime rib but they were all out which is fine and they suggested the rib eye steak. My husband ordered it medium rare. They brought it out and it was rare to the point it was cold. It took forever to get the attention of someone to let them know it wasn’t cooked because our waiter did not come back around to ask how our food was. We flagged down someone else. The waiter said we will put the steak back on the grill. We are paying for a 70 dollar steak and they think putting it back on the grill instead of giving a new one is acceptable. My husband said he wanted a brand new one. By the time the second one came out every one was done eating. The second steak came out burnt to a crisp on the outside and it was still rare on the inside. My husband was pretty much fed up at this point and asked for a take out container because everyone was done eating. No apologies and no nothing from the waiter or management until my husband spoke up when they brought the bill. He wanted his meal taken off the bill. The manger came out and said no because they brought out the second steak and he was taking it home. My husband said just forget it keep the steak and take it off the bill. Management handled this horribly. We used to love Zorros but we will not be going back. For an expensive steakhouse they should do better!

The picture says it all. This was the best prime rib I’ve ever had. Not going to lie the service could have been a little better with my waiter BUT the evening manager (and the food) saved this review from a four-star.

We revisted Zorros last night after many years. Its a long way to travel through Toronto traffic, but I was anxious to see if it was as good as I remembered. It was!! Service was outstanding. The ribs were as good as I remembered. Step back into the 1970's for a couple of hours. It's worth it. Aug 2025 In addition to great service, delicious food, generous portions and prices in line or better than downtown steakhouses, you get to time travel into the 1970s. Zorros was established mid 1970s and basically nothing has changed ( except prices) since then. This was a time when waiters wore tuxedos, busboys burgundy vests and dining was an event not just an opportunity to eat while yelling over the din of other diners. I could actually speak to my dining companion without raising my voice. Perhaps the only notable difference was the attire of the guests. In earlier days jacket (and possibly tie) would be in order. Now even cargo shorts and a tee shirt seems acceptable. The location is and has always been weird, but once inside there is no doubt you will enjoy the total experience...especially the food.

Kevin Frank Derek n Douglas enjoyed succulent steaks. We also pleasantly acknowledged the vegs and potato came and were steaming hot. J n J were gentlemen, taking care of all our desires. Thank you for a special birthday dinner. Mmmmmm. You now have become our goto steakhouse. Thank you.

Let me start by saying the restaurant is dated. We were a large group, but I found the Entres to be ok. I got my baked potato, then was told my meal would be delayed. When it arrived, the broccoli and Asparagus was very undercooked almost raw, my baked potato was already cold since I received it 10 mins before the meal. No one came to ask if my meal was ok. My baked potato was supposed to be fully loaded, but it was plain. I will say I heard amazing things about this restaurant, I tried it and I won't rush back.

Classical steakhouse. My organization had a dinner here a few days ago and the staff are great, New York steaks taste excellent, and the prime rib portions are huge.
Plate presentations make the meals look delicious, there are a lot of attentive staff, and the place has a classical vibe.
