This place makes really good food. The menu is not anything complicated, sandwiches, soups etc. but even the Greek salad and chicken tenders with fries were amazing. The food takes a little bit longer to come out so if you have little ones bring something to keep them occupied. We look forward to returning.
Dietary restrictions: No gluten free options for the breads or baked good. They do have salad.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible there's a big step just as you enter the front door.

Fresh bread and handmade sandwiches were all fantastic! We also had poutine and fish and chips. Everything was amazing! The desserts looked incredible. The dishes were all antique looking and very cute. Added to the atmosphere!

One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. I had the Big E grilled cheese with brie, bacon, and cranberry, and a garden salad. The bread was thick and fresh, and beautifully crusted.

Never have I had a better tasting sandwich! Fresh lettuce and tomato, bread is baked in-house, generous portions of sliced meat and cheese. Sweet desserts like doughnuts and strawberry pies (see photos) are baked, not deep-fried, with icing that is not too sweet. The staff at the front of the house are friendly and accommodating, and the chef(s) in the back make the perfect sandwich every time. Photos show a toasted Western sandwich on white and a turkey lurkey sandwich on white. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast and lunch any day!

Accommodated my celiac disease! Got a full yummy breakfast, eggs, bacon, toast, shredded potatoes. They cared about cross contamination, and took their time to ask questions and ensure it would be as safe as possible for me. My family also enjoyed some fresh baked goods and raved about them. Cute atmosphere, great prices.

Popped in for a sandwich to go. Wow, very impressed. Fresh baked bread and goodies DAILY! Ordered a ham and salami sandwich on whole grain. Oh my. Everything about this sandwich was top notch. The meats, fillings and that bread!! This thing has to weigh 2 pounds and was presented wrapped in butcher paper. I love it ALL!! Decided I needed to bring some treats back to work. So much to choose from...went for the cinnamon buns. Rodeo girl waitress said they will be the best I ever had. She is correct! And they were still WARM. My workmates all agree. The best cinnamon buns! Not too much cinnamon, very soft and comforting dough, with enough firmness for a good chew. ...and some caramelized bits from the pan bottom. Yup. Totally the best. Looking forward to my next trip through this lovely town so I can have a sit down meal here.

This is the place in Mitchell. Best food in town, and it's not even closeYou do pay a bit for it, but you definitely get what you pay for. Fantastic staff, great owner. Hope it stays for good. Worth the drive if you're not from the town as well
