Editing review after response from the owner. Thanks for your rapid response and clearing up why there was a long wait. I've upgraded my review to 4 stars for your quick response with explanation. However, instead of expecting customers to tell you they are in a hurry (we were not but certainly were not expecting a 40 minute wait for a sandwich), maybe as a courtesy you could inform customers of the longer than usual wait time before taking their order. Stopped here for lunch and chose the basic burger with fries. It was the best burger I've had in a long time! Meaty, juicy and generous in size. Service was excellent. Delicious baked treats were also available for purchase. I'll be back!
The burgers were pretty good. Generous portions; I was very satisfied. They could use more fat and more char.
Unfortunately it's 3 hours from home, and I was just passing through town.
I may go back to have the pie, and I hear they're coming out with burnt basque cheesecake.
