What a place.. food is delicious atmosphere is beautiful and service is top notch. Natasha is AAA+
This is a lovely winery near Orangeville Ontario. It is a much more enjoyable drive than battling the QEW to get to Niagara. The grounds are beautiful and the building is modern, clean and the decor is very nice. We went for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We arrived and waited at the reception for approximately 5 minutes before being acknowledged. A woman tried to help us but told us she knew nothing about anything and went to find another employee who was able to help us. We did not make reservations so were not upset or surprised that we were told we would have to wait for a half hour to be seated or to have a tasting. We were told we were welcome to walk the grounds and come back and she took our names. After a half hour we came back and there was a different hostess. She told us to wait a bit longer as she had to seat another couple who had come in after us. She seemed surprised and quite apologetic that we had been waiting for a half hour and seated us after about 5 minutes. Everything seemed fine, she gave us menus, water and cutlery. After that we waited and waited to be acknowledged by anyone. After 20 minutes of just sitting there we flagged down a server to ask if we could please be served. She said she would find someone and disappeared. 10 more minutes went by and still no one came and we flagged down a second waitress who did the same thing. Finally after more than 30 minutes had passed a server came (who had passed by our table at least a dozen times) came by to take our order. We expressed our concerns that we had waited for so long. Another woman came and brought us a complimentary tasting for the long wait. We were able to finally order and had a nice meal and some tastings. Before our meal was over we were told our server was going on break and another gentleman looked after us. The food was quite good and the selection of wines was good as well. Overall we enjoyed the winery but felt that the service staff was extremely disorganized. This experience could have been a five star. Something really needs to be done to organize and train the staff properly. We loved the Sauvingon Blanc and ended up buying a couple of bottles to enjoy at home. Hopefully the service improves in the future.
Beautiful place, enjoyed a nice lunch and wine tasting with our pups, needed to buy a bottle or six for the evenings dinner
As someone who frequently visits wineries, this one is definitely a pass! 35$+ tax to taste wines that are 13-25$? Make it make sense. (Photo of the tasting)
The grounds are stunning, but that’s the only redeeming quality. The girl serving us poured our wines, told us minimal information, and was never to be seen again! We had some questions about the wines, and the winemaking process at Adamo, none of which were answered. I had high hopes after seeing the great reviews this winery has, but was extremely disappointed by my visit.
We were excited to visit Adamo Estate Winery, especially because I am gluten-free. During a bike ride, we stopped in for a drink, and the staff member we spoke with mentioned she was celiac and that the winery had plenty of gluten-free options. Since we were staying next door, we looked forward to coming back for dinner.
The winery itself is beautiful, and we loved the sparkling wine. It was our favorite of the evening. We let our server know right away that I was gluten-free and that we would be sharing only gluten-free dishes. We ordered the cheese and charcuterie board. While the manager caught that one of the cheeses contained beer and kindly offered an alternative, our server never acknowledged the oversight. That alone would have been understandable, but it set the tone for what followed.
Next, we ordered the bruschetta and confirmed it would be served on gluten-free bread. When it arrived, my friend took a bite and quickly realized it was served on regular bread, not eggplant as we had hoped. We spoke again with the manager and reordered it on gluten-free bread. Still, there was no acknowledgment of the allergy from our server. Then the mussels were served with regular bread, even after multiple reminders that I required gluten-free.
The final disappointment was seeing that we were charged for both bruschettas, even though the first was the result of incorrect information. For someone with celiac disease or a gluten sensitivity, errors like this are not just inconvenient, they are unsafe.
While the setting and wine were lovely, the lack of care and attention to dietary needs left me feeling let down.
We drove all the way here for a bachelorette, a group of nine of us. Even with booking a tour ahead, organizing with management and securing pricing for drinkers / non drinkers, it seemed like the entire time we were at the winery, we were left going staff member to staff member relaying the pricing we were initially told and the plan initially made with management prior to coming (not everyone in our group is drinkers), even with a reservation and in depth communication prior to our arrival. Once there, we talked to management, he agreed with us on implementing what was discussed through the phone, then minutes later were being charged for stuff that was not agreed upon. This place has major communication issues from staff member to staff member. It was extremely embarrassing having to spend the duration of our time talking to staff members about our pricing and really took away from the reason that we were there, to celebrate a beautiful soon to be bride!
Great experience here. Food was excellent, and the wine was even better. Service was polite, prompt, and friendly. Would highly recommend.
It was exactly the experience I was looking for, but my one caveat is to check the menu in advance - picky eaters may struggle with the share-plate style.
Love coming here! Such a beautiful scenic place. The food is so delicious although the portions are small in comparison to the price. Regardless, the atmosphere makes up for it! And their customer service is great! You can walk around in the vineyard …with your drinks 😍. Such a pleasant experience; so happy there’s a winery close by and you don’t have to go to Niagara for such experience.
Everything dish we had was exceptional
Great spot!!

My husband had been calling since early morning to book a table, but no one ever answered. When we arrived, we were told there were no available seats — even though there were plenty of empty tables both inside and outside. The staff was completely disorganized.
They suggested we just grab a glass of wine and walk around the vineyards — but that’s not why we drove an hour and a half to get there.
We were actually considering this place as a potential venue for our wedding, but after such poor service and lack of organization, we definitely won’t be doing that.
Wine, views, and vibes 🍷✨
This winery stole my heart—and my appetite.
Beautiful space - did a wine tasting around 11:30am on a Saturday; Done inside at the bar. We had Norma who was perfect, honestly - easy to talk to, ask questions and she was a wealth of knowledge with the various wines. Even provided us a different option when one chosen was not the best suited to our liking.
The food was amazing - highly recommend the focaccia bread and the gnocchi. And after lunch or some wine you can walk around the vineyard for some nice photo ops.
As we were heading out a wedding was beginning, and although the space was slightly more crowded while everyone grabbed drinks, it was a lovely atmosphere, with amazing staff!
Celebrated my husband’s birthday at brunch today and the service was phenomenal along with the views.
Frozé is amazing, nice place to decompress with a drink in a beautiful place
