We went to Mono Cliffs Inn last night to Peter Sellers Pub. This place is a perfect get away from the normal loud box restaurants. It’s a quaint little place where the servers (Sam) and the food and atmosphere make you feel Like you’re on a vacation away from the hustle and bustle. The soft live music in the corner set the tone for a great night and the food was fabulous.

I’ve lived in Orangeville my whole life. I have frequented Mono Cliffs many times over my life. Last night we gathered with eight couples for a once a year get together before Christmas to share drinks laughs and a nice atmosphere. It was NOT busy at all upstairs. There was only one other table and it was of 4. But we all said after we left the restaurant that the service was terrible. The waitresses were rude. They were not attentive. They leaned in and over you. At one point I apologized for being in her way. Never once asked if we needed anything else, more drinks, I actually only ever heard the waitress’s voice when she said could I take your order and that was it? We seemed like we were inconveniencing them. We are a kind and thoughtful group, no one was inebriated and we were all well behaved. The food was ok. Wasn’t out of the park in terms of quality. We were all very disappointed with our experience. The back stone room is nice but the acoustics are bad for a large crowd. We will NOT book again. The thing is. When you live in a small town and you have couples willing to spend their money at your establishment and get treated as if you’re “bothering” them. DO BETTER! You’d want to have more patrons.. no?
We’ve had a way better experience downstairs in the past so I’m Not sure what the difference is?

Dropped in for a quick one and ended up completely blown away. The wine list is exceptional one of the best surprises in the area and the Schnitzel.. was absolutely amazing. I ended up ordering a bottle of Montrachet which was divine. Jessica and Brittany were fantastic warm, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better. The whole place has such a cozy, inviting feel, both upstairs and downstairs, and there’s even a beautiful private room for more intimate dinners. Absolutely will be back.

Our family had a most delicious meal and the our server was exceptional. The soup was perfection, the beef tacos were delicious and the burgers were the best ever. We finished off with the apple cranberry spring rolls which were freshly made. Love it place!

This is our go-to date spot. We had our first date in the Peter Cellars Pub downstairs and it was a so memorable. We return here at least once a year. The food is awesome, the servers are a delight (we miss you Wayne), and the atmosphere is rustic and elegant.
