I’ve lived in this town for just around 10 years now and for quite awhile Subway was my go-to meal. However in recent years it’s become pretty bad and despite recent attempts to give them more chances, they just fall short every time.
My wife and I enjoy subways meatball subs, but now they never seem to have meatballs prepared. I’ve gone in 5 times in the last 2 weeks and gotten a meatball sub once. The meatballs also don’t seem to be hot which in turn makes the sub much less enjoyable. The only good meatball sub I’ve had there in recent memory was made by one of the more seasoned staff members, but sadly I rarely see her in there anymore.
Staff seem uninterested in serving you, and they either get frustrated or make odd mistakes when you ask for stuff. Once they got upset that I asked to cut my foot long sub in half prior to putting ingredients on, because it would “make too much of a mess” and another time when I asked for cheese of both half’s of the sub, they literally put extra cheese on both the front and back of the sub. It’s just not a smooth experience there at all.
Honestly I had cut my visits down to once every few months, but I tried again after that one good sub I got; with this crappy experience and the fact they never seem to have meatballs prepared, even at mealtime, I may just start going elsewhere again. Probably a restaurant that actually has the food available to eat.

The worker that was making my sandwich was touching meat before he started to make my sandwich. I asked him to change his gloves and he got annoyed and was also giving attitude while serving me. It would seem like common sense to change your gloves if someone is ordering a non meat item. You need to train your workers on proper customer service

This Subway location puts nothing on your sub. The toppings are so minimal it looks like it got ran over by a vehicle. I’ve never seen this level of frugalness when it comes to toppings. They also did not toast my sub on flatbread when I asked so it was cold and the flat bread was all flour. I ate it but was still hungry that’s how few toppings they out on it. The meat was only layered on once, other locations put 2 laters of meat on.

Ordered a rice bowl, gluten free, for my wife. Was extremely upset by the 3 small scoops of rice, less chicken than on a sub and the $11.99 price. Bowl was less than half full. Had the same in Renfrew 3 weeks ago. The bowl was heaping with rice and definitely worth the same price. Will never buy from Morrisburg Subway again.
Worst experience of my life. A chicken rancher with extra pep an fresh mozza... Every other subway $16 this one $30.
An let's talk being cheap. Asked for chicken rancher I could of pissed out the amount of chicken as a bladder infection an not even noticed.
Close your doors. This is why subways is failing.

During my recent visit to Subway, I was blown away by their new menu and decided to try the Great Canadian Club, made as a salad. It was absolutely delicious! The ingredients were fresh, and the combination of flavors was spot on—tender turkey, juicy bacon, and fresh veggies all mixed perfectly. The staff was friendly and made the experience even better by preparing everything with care. Subway’s new menu is truly impressive, offering great variety and healthier options like salads that don't compromise on taste. Highly recommend stopping by to try it!
