A&W in Mt Forest is always a pleasant pit stop for a quick fill up. The staff here are pleasant and quick in taking your order. We usually have the breakfast combo including the egg sandwich, hash brown and coffee. It’s prepared with care and presentable.
The restaurant interior is clean and has the retro diner vibe. Often times there are seniors hanging out here during the day in groups for chats. The food is served in a metal tray and I always find it neat that they use the mini fry basket to present the hash brown. No complaints!
Skip it or hit it? It’s usually a fast half hour stop here for us to grab a good bite.

I just asked if they had seasoning for fries and the lady at the counter just snatched the bag out of my hand and was super rude.

We just went through the drive through around 12:30 pm. The buddy burgers were fabulous and hot and the fries were cooked to perfection. I like my fries well done! The drive though girl was friendly too!! Great job Mount Forest!

My recent visit to A&W was a mixed bag. The food was fantastic, especially the Masala Veggie Burger—it was flavorful and had a great texture. However, the experience was let down by poor customer service. The cashier’s voice was so low I could barely hear him, making it difficult to order and ask questions. It felt like I was straining to understand throughout the entire interaction. While the food was delicious, the lack of clear communication and attentive service really detracted from an otherwise enjoyable meal. I hope they can improve their customer service standards to match the quality of their food.
