Owner Dan does not like Americans. He waited on several locals that came in after us. He charges plenty for everything with no exchange rate. Slow service,high prices and an unwelcoming attitude. We will never go back. There are plenty of other places to stay.

I only went to the restaurant for dinner, excellent service, a very pleasant atmosphere.

Favorite place for dinner on the lake. I have been going for years and it feels like family.

Stayed here with a group of 6 night before our fly in.
We where told it would be $50.00 US each when we made the reservation.
We arrived at 4 pm as they opened checked in sat at bar for a few cold ones after a 9 hour ride,
Cabin was OK very rustic. Bed, roof and shower.
Had burgers and fries.
Total bill came to $960.00 US !!!! (Ouch!!)
Told us then room was $80.00 each $400.00 US
6 Burgers, possibly 30 beer and tip $560.00 US

Great spot on the water to fish and get dinner.Food & drinks: Try the ribs!

Stopped here for a meal, having a store merchant recommend the seafood. We were told there was no seafood left, so my wife ordered ribs and I had a burger. We waited for a very long time and watched two other tables get their food after coming in well after us. The ribs were so overdone, the meat had to be chewed from the bone. My burger was so overdone and black, it was like eating a hockey puck and made the bun look huge.I mentioned this to the owner who had the audacity to argue with me. He said "the ribs were perfect and I had them myself". Maybe people eat ribs like this in that region, not me. They should be soft and fall off the bone with ease. The only thing good about our meals was the sauce. His response about the very well done burger was, I cant speak to the burger.On top of this experience the waitress called my wife Mama! - really!!!I did not recommend this establishment for food. Maybe they forgot our order or something, wont go back.

Lecturer's Lodge was great! We enjoyed the convenience of the on-site restaurant and the cabins were spacious.Food & drinks: I recommend the burger with fries and a tall beer.

Stopped in by snowmobile the other evening had pizza and a burger, server was warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is decorated with all kinds of animal mounts. Great stop when sledding through. Delicious Cesar’s and Keith’s dark beer on tap!

If you need a place to stay the night before your fly out, this will work. Not much though.

My Husband and I decided to drive to Nestor Falls on a rainy afternoon from Morson. The owner Dan greeted us with a warm welcome. The food and atmosphere are a delight for anyone. We will definitely be back. Thank you Dan for a wonderful meal and experience.

Very friendly staff. I had the rack of ribs. They were delicious and the meat fell right off of the bone. The meal came with a yummy salad bar.
