Disgusted with the owners attitude and behaviours and after speaking with multiple First Nation people, I find that our experiences are similar. I don’t think I’d go back and I’m sure the owner is happy to hear that. The food was ok, but I’d much prefer Greens or the Bears Den (referencing the owner being upset that we were wanting to eat at The Log Tavern 2.0 because “Greens was closed”…and would not take our order when my mother asked if he was jealous of Greens…Owner just walked away and stayed behind the bar…my brothers had to go up to order..) Anyway, my family will not be going back unless the owner learns to stop his disgusting behaviours.
Good was decent though.

Despite the busy atmosphere, I would have appreciated easier access to servers to request what we needed. A tip for future visits: be sure to ask for plates and cutlery when placing your order. That aside, the quality of the food would definitely bring me back!

Went for dinner, Prime rib! Well worth the drive. Dinner was done very well, beautiful veggies, mash potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, tender prime rib, dessert was a fruit crisp, so good. Will be going there again! 5 stars from us!

Great overall experience, Nestor’s saying couldnt be more true, that great things do come in small packages. On the inside, this lovely little tavern has a very welcoming feel with amazing fresh food, and prompt and courteous service. Great for take out and they have their own little menu for that, and the bar life is more rowdy and entertaining than any of the small towns surrounding. Would be worth a trip to Nestor just to stop here.
