I love this spot - for a pop over on way to / from up north or a short jaunt from the city for a local foodie experience that’s close but has small-town day trip vibes. The food is exceptional and the atmosphere and care from the owner and staff make every visit special. (Fun fact, named after the owner’s grandmother and food imagined by a chef who is the owner’s daughter. What a beautiful family story.) I highly recommend it.

Found this cute cafe that serves breakfast lunch and dinner. I went there just for coffee and I'm glad that I went there as it was one of the best. The ambiance is really cute. The staff is amazing and very kind. They bake fresh pastries every day, even though I don't like cookies, but I loved theirs It was soft melts in your mouth and buttery with the perfect amount of sweetness I will definitely try their food if I'm ever in town again I had one of the best experience.

What a gem! Had a breakfast for our party of 6. Lovely service that was both warm and professional. Food super tasty, highlights were the Croque Madame, smoked salmon tartine, and assortment of French style treats. Bottomless coffee was epic from De Mello Roasters. We even got to watch a parade from our table in the front window! Quite an enjoyable experience, would definitely return.

I have been to some of the highest rated restaurants in Kitchener Waterloo, Henrietta is on a level of its own. From start to finish, this restaurant exceeded our expectations. We had the spanakopita, which was perfectly flaky and filled with rich ingredients. The beet salad was beautifully balanced: fresh, vibrant, and dressed just right. For our main, we shared the smash burger, and it was outstanding: juicy, full of flavour, and paired with what I can confidently say are the best fries I’ve ever had. The garlic aioli that came with them elevated everything even more. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the quality was evident in each bite. We cannot wait to make this a staple for our family. Absolutely worth the drive.

We recently had the absolute pleasure of having Henriette host our Engagement Celebration for a private event and it DID NOT disappoint!
The food was absolutely incredible, the staff were outstanding. They put so much effort and care into our event through all the little details; beautiful florals, decor, playlist (shout out to Izzy!) and amazing beautifully curated menu (which they even personalized for us!). We requested an European Italian Summer theme event and they delivered! Lemons and citrus everywhere! It was simply gorgeous.
From the caviar on chips with crème fraiche to gorgeous and juicy ribeye and roasted chicken with crisp and tasty fresh greens! Still dreaming of the gorgeous salads and delicious asparagus!
And the dessert! Ohh the dessert… authentic tiramisu with fresh strawberries to complement the theme. When you enter Henriette, you’re always welcomed with bright and beautiful warm smiles every time who simply make you feel like family! They work so hard and it shows!
Highly recommend you visit for brunch or dinner if you’re in the area, add this place to your list immediately! My partner and I are big foodies and have been coming here for sometime since they opened- believe us when we say, it’s so great!
