I lived in Newburgh for almost 3 years and it was my first time visiting the Egg Basket a few weeks ago. I was impressed by how quaint the shop was. I ordered 2 dozen of the double yoked eggs for only $4.25 each. I was impressed by the price and the size of them. Also, they are delicious!!
Looking for an alternative to store bought eggs. We've tried all brands with different bad results. They just don't agree with my girlfriend. So after many years of ignoring roadside eggs for sale, I Googled organic eggs, several places, but upon calling, no answer or closed. So I tried The Egg basket. 15 minutes later, I was buying double yolk eggs. To my surprise, they were half the price of the store bought. As soon as we got home, the first double yolk egg hit...
Great place to buy eggs,and farm food products . This is not a restaurant, it is a store at the farm. They do serve lunch.
