I have stopped in for baked goods , breakfast and this past week for the Friday hot meal. Great service and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend pre-ordering the Friday hot meal. So full of flavour and made with care.

A gem of a cafe with beautiful and tasty breakfast wraps and baked goods. Wish I spent more time in the area so I could have gone back a second time. Coffee is really tasty.
Amazing cafe, great food and company.

My wife and I spend a great deal of time trying different cafes in and around our home-bases. We rarely find one that rates highly in our three categories. Shamrock Cafe is one that checked all of our boxes. Although our initial visit was just for coffee, we did see that the pastries were very well made and presented. A large gathering of local cottagers and residents attested to the fact that the food, service, and atmosphere is outstanding.
We are locals ourselves, and we will be back often.

Great food! Excellent service. A charming place. Cash only.
Worth traveling to. Food is very, very good. Cool little plevna hang out.
Always friendly service and great food
I stopped in on a long bike ride this Saturday to buy a drink. While I didn’t plan to stay and couldn’t enjoy the lovely bakery items and coffee that was there, I sure wanted to! Thank you for your gracious hospitality and for having a simple bottle of Gatorade for me to purchase. My wife and I are looking at the photos of menu items and planning a trip next year around your beautiful cafe! Enjoy the offseason, see you in the spring.
A lot of her food is very tasty. Her miserable attitude leaves a sour taste. Slow service cash only.

The ultimate stop for cottagers when the season hits! CASH only. Friday night homemade takeout dinners, scrumptious baked goods that would shame Paris, satisfying coffee selection, and a frighteningly fun tip jar! Add to that a gemology shop in the back and cute fairy lit lounge and whats left in life, really?

I visited the Shamrock Cafe this weekend and I asked if there were gluten free items. The answer I got was a very short “no”. I felt very taken aback and felt that my dietary needs were not important. So I didn’t get anything and I ended up sitting and watching my friends eat which is very awkward and upsetting. I understand that it is a small establishment and not a lot of gluten free ingredients are available in that area, but dietary restrictions are very common nowadays and it is nice when they are accommodated. It would have been nice if a dietary-friendly option was offered or at least tried to accommodate instead of being set aside to help the next customer. I was very disappointed and likely won’t be visiting again when I am back in the area.
A must if you are riding the 509 / 506 combo routes of the highlands. Make sure you bring your loonies and toonies because it's ca$h only. ???

Every essence of a small-town charm can be found here. Nuala makes mouth watering breakfast, lunch, and fresh baked goods daily. She offers frozen meals and entrees hand made perfect for a night off cooking at the cottage. There is an art store run by two artists Bob and Jim in the rear of the store. They sell folk art, paintings, and handmade jewelry come and check it out! Come grab a coffee and stop by ?
