The Kitcheness Reviews
The Kitcheness kills it every time! Sarah always has the most delicious soups (Thai Red Curry on Wednesdays is the best) and sandwiches with lots of variety, there's something for everyone.
The take home meals are delicious and great value.
Her scones are HUGE and she always has a sweet and savory. They're to die for.
Desserts are also amazing and full of flavour. Also a ton of variety and she usually has a gluten free option too!
We picked up some mini cheesecake from the kitcheness for the first time this week. They were fantastic! Looking forward to trying more items :)

The Kitcheness in North Gower is a cozy place that offers delicious soups and sandwiches, with fresh and grilled options available. The meals are hearty and include a variety of wonderful desserts, both gluten free and traditional flour-based. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating, often going above and beyond to meet dietary restrictions and food allergies. The restaurant features a small but comfortable seating area, perfect for enjoying a meal while waiting or taking a break. It is known for its homemade food, including sauces and roast beef made by the owner, which many customers find to be healthier and tastier than fast-food options. The menu also includes classic country salads like broccoli, potato, and macaroni, bringing a nostalgic feel. The shop is set up mainly for takeout, but the inviting cafe seating makes it a great spot to savor local, rural Eastern Ontario flavors. Despite some opinions on prices, many agree that the quality and homemade nature of the food make it worth the cost. The scones are highly praised as some of the best in the city, making The Kitcheness a hidden gem worth visiting.
