We visited BVR for our anniversary dinner on Saturday night. There was a lot going on with the Santa Claus parade so, it was busy getting to and from the restaurant. The food was amazing and it was totally worth it. There was a large party at the beginning that made it quite loud but the atmosphere for the most part was great. I had the enchiladas and they were sooo delicious!! And so filling. Will really enjoy going to BVR and plan to return soon

Food was just ok but $5.50 for a coffee and the same for a tea.. and that was for only one cup is absolutely ridiculous.. just for three coffees and two sides of gravy we paid $24.00 before tax! For lunch for three people the bill was well over $100.00.. two chicken sandwiches and a Caesar salad with a couple of pieces of chicken on top.. Crazy!
Won’t be back..
First time at Barley Vine, excellent experience.

Orangeville is the halfway meeting place for a good friend and myself. It was a long time since we were able to get together. We didn’t want to have lunch at a chain restaurant. So when planning our lunch, my friend came upon the Barley and Vine Rail Co on the local tourist information site. The reviews were excellent.
The reviews are correct!
We were seated promptly. Our server was excellent. She was very attentive. And the food…probably one of the best chicken ceasar salads I’ve had in a very long time. My friend has the beef dip and told me it was excellent.
We were approached several times, by our server and a staff member, to ensure that everything was good with our meal.
We noticed the menu indicated that everything is made fresh, so that any dietary restrictions could be addressed.
Fortunately for us, it was not over busy, so we were able to chat for a bit longer, after lunch. We watched to make sure there was still available seating for anyone coming in to dine. No approached us to rush us along.
My husband and I frequently stop in Orangeville, coming home from a trip further east. We will now be making the Barley and Vine Rail Co this stop.

Fantastic spot, friendly staff, great vibes and delightful moose decore!! They have a great selection of beers on tap, also an amazing ceasars. We stopped in here for a drink after hiking in the area, so glad we did.

First time here with my friends and was not busy at All on a Wednesday night.. the menu is not huge but the selections are a good variety. I had the beef burger with salad and the meat was tender and fresh and you can tell it was homemade.
I was too busy eating and salivating that I forgot to take pics 🤣
The side salad was amazing as well. Fresh and the tasty dressing.
The servers were wonderful

My friend and I drove up to Orangeville to meet up with one of our friends in the area. This restaurant was one of the recommendations that was given to us, so it was our first time here. Overall, we had a really great time. I just wished maybe I had ordered something else. I found the chicken piccata to be very bland. I was debating between the piccata or the schnitzel. I kind of wish I got the schnitzel because my friend got the pork bratwurst, off the Oktoberfest menu and she loved it. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

My boyfriend and I went to Barley Vine Rail for the first time, and we absolutely loved it! We started with the calamari — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My boyfriend had a Caesar, and I tried the espresso martini — both were spot on!
The atmosphere was easily our favorite part. It had that cozy, rustic, country-rock charm that just feels like a warm hug. We sat by the bar and were served by a wonderful bartender (didn’t catch her name, sadly) who was super friendly, attentive, and really made our night even better.
We’ll definitely be coming back soon and recommending this place to friends and family!

Do not even try to come without reservation. We came and there were lots of tables empty, they didn’t seat us at all, had to sit at the bar, and all those empty table stayed empty🤯
