Starting with the star of the show, grilled calamari. I've never experience calamari prepared in such a unique way. Grilled to perfection and finished with a tasty herb butter.
Second best of the night belongs to another unique dish, the beet carpacio. Beautifully plated with a very well balanced taste profile.
The bacon wrapped scallops was another delightful surprise. The scallops were cooked perfectly, with a tender soft middle.
The cherry on top of our dining experience was our beautiful server, Carla. Thanks the amazing time! Would definitely come back for more

Really nice restaurant. Servers knowledgeable about dishes. Not rushed. Halibut and chips were excellent. Homemade soup with seasoned bread was tasty. Definitely be back.

Service: This was lacking, waitress only checked on us once the entire time. If a 22% tip is the standard thats added onto the bill could've been more attentive. Had to flag her down to get the bill then before we could ask for the machine she was off again and had to flag her again.
Atmosphere: Its dark in there. They give you a little led table light for a little bit of extra light but mot much. Some tables are so close together that make it difficult to get in and out of your chair because the person behind ya is right against you.

My family and I have come to Forage several times since moving to town. We have always enjoyed our meals and the great service. However Fri Dec 05 we were very disappointed with our meals. We ordered our usual mussels in a curry sauce and they were cold. The server kindly brought them back to the kitchen to have them heated up. I ordered the lobster risotto and the rice was crunchy not cooked at all. Our other dishes had an over powering amount of garlic and we were terribly disappointed in the gnocchi dish as well as the Crab cakes. I am having lunch with a few friends there on Friday as i suggested it since we love the food. However after our Friday experience the week before I hope I am not going to regret this. I hope this was a one off as we have always loved our food experience there. Just thought I would share.

My wife was looking forward to celebrating her special Birthday. She was looking forward to going back to this restaurant with her friend which they hadn't been to for a long time. The experince was not inviting at all. The questions she asked were answered very abruptly, She didn't feel welcomed and will not be returning to this restaurant. They had a bottle of cleaner on the table as her and her friend were getting ready to leave. Not good forage!
