I went here for lunch today for the first time. I wanted to try a new pizza spot in town. The pizza is nothing to brag about and definitely not a place to go out of you way for. Overall experience is a 1 out of 5.Fairly disappointing due to assuming high expectations. This isn't somewhere I would return to.

Edit : pizza was delicious. Will continue to be our pizza place. Thankyou:)Usually the quality is great and has been our go to pizza place for over a decade. Although the last couple times have been a bit less than what we were used to. Also don't forget to have the ref# when ordering online- apparently they can't look online orders up by the name, phone# or address that you use for the order. My husband had to wait in the parking lot for an hour trying to reach me so I can look it up before he could grab the pizza. Not impressed with that system. Hopefully this pizza will be better than the last.

I’ll keep it simple - the pizza bangs and it is a treat every time I order from here when I’m driving home from Collingwood.

Full disclaimer: This review is over a year old and the reason that I held off for so long in writing it was because I was soo ticked off that I wanted to wait to be sure that I write a factual and not emotional review, so I wrote down my experience but never posted until now. Time passed and I forgot about it until a friend of mine had horrible snotty service in that location as well, which reminded me of the importance of this review:On May 9, 2022 between 4-5pm. I ordered a veal sandwich and a slice of pizza. I paid and was told that it would be ready in 10 minutes, so I went outside and came back in. The guy making my sandwich (whom I later found out was the owners snotty and spoiled son, Frankie Meli) was in the process of making my sandwich at which time I overheard the girl who took my order say "it is supposed to be veal, not chicken" and his response was "they will get chicken and they will like it, they won't know the difference” this was in reference to me of which he didn't realize I was standing there, so I replied that I cannot eat chicken and I want a veal. He replied “we are out of veal” (which should have been disclosed when I ordered ) I told him that I have an allergy to poultry and that a customer should be eating what they expect! He gave me nothing but attitude and called me a “big tough guy with an attitude problem” Now I was obviously unhappy with the situation, but in no way was I being unreasonable with my dissatisfaction to his arrogance and disregard for customers allergies! At that point he told me to get out and he threatened to call the police which was ironic considering that I was the paying customer who was upset yes, but not to the point that required police intervention. I refused to leave until I got my refund and told him to go ahead and call the police. He issued me a cash, pocket change refund even though I paid with debit. I asked for the debit refund because I didnt want his pocket change but he said he “cant do it” even though all debit transactions are reversible. He is a teenage punk who acts like a 1 year old baby. Nothing will likely change because of my review, because it seems like others enjoy their food, which I am sure is ok....but due to the experience that I had with this young childish baby, it is impossible to ever know. What concerns me the most is that people who have allergies could be severely ill or worse if they are consuming something unexpected. In my case my allergy is not severe, but none the less their attitude is concerning. I would assume that the same attitude would be expressed to those that are vegans or vegetarians or those that have religious restrictions to pork. So do not trust anything that they say as you do not know for certain what you are consuming! I just hope that his father (the real owner Franco) reads this and understands how easily a child can ruin and crush all of your years of hard work!

This is some of the worst pizza I have eaten. A medium 2 toppings extra cheese over $18. Salty and burnt. Paid for extra cheese only for it to taste like hard rubber. I picked it up and they charged a fee for that?!

My pizza took 2 hours to arrive, stone cold. Why take a persons number if you dont intended to call them back. Zero customer service, zero accountability. I still tipped the driver despite the lack of effort.

This is honestly my favourite pizza place. I've gone to maybe one other place with pizza that I personally think is better but they're not as kind there and Johnny's is local. I absolutely love Johnny's. The pepperoni pizza is delicious when it's hot. The pizza isn't too expensive. Everyone there is really nice. Everything about Johnny's is great. If you got take out and didn't like it, go there and dine in. It's not as good when cold but it's AMAZING hot. If you want good pizza, Johnny's is the place!Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian pizzas and cheese always works too.Kid-friendliness: They're great with kids, they're always really kind.Parking: There's a small parking lot right in front of Johnny's, yes it can get packed but there's usually a spot or two. If you can't find a spot there, there are plenty of other lots around.Dietary restrictions: I wouldn't recommend going if you're either gluten free or dairy free but people who are dairy free can still order a pizza without cheese.
