I am absolutely disgusted with the treatment I just received at the Starbucks on centennial road! Mon Jan 19th at 5:20 PM. I went in to work on my studies and I was not in the door 10 mins getting my laptop set up and going to the bathroom and I was approached by an employee named Joelle asking me “are you going to order something? We have a policy you have to order something to sit here” I literally was just getting settled, answering a phone call and was going to order. I felt personally attacked. Someone came in after me and set up her laptop, didn’t order, and no one approached her to insist she orders something. When I approached the employees to get their names and indicated someone else came in why didn’t they question them I was told “they did order” meanwhile this whole time they hadn’t gone to the counter once nor had any food or drink. I am absolutely disgusted with the disrespect and personal attack. I’ve gone there to do my schoolwork many times and never had any issues but after this experience I will not be returning. There is nothing posted anywhere indicating you MUST place an order the second you get in the door or else you can’t sit there. I’d understand if maybe I was sitting there for 20-30 mins without ordering, but I literally had just gotten in the door and was setting my stuff up before ordering…like relax!

Also if you drive a black jeep and went through the drive through shortly after 5 PM, some of the employees took a picture of your license plate… unsure why.

The staff gave us a very warm greeting and they are very nice and patient to do price check for me on the Starbucks cup. Really appreciate it. They clean the floor and table often. Very friendly vibe!

These employees at this store deserve a raise … no matter what day I come in or how busy they are the ALWAYS give you the best customer service.. so helpfully with the app so helpful for when you want your own kinda drink … there just all amazing you don’t get service like that anymore sadly … she even made a heart on my latte

Whenever we visit family near Orangeville, this is our go to place for coffee and a treat. I went through the drive thru Christmas Eve, picked up our order and returned home. Imagine my disappointment when all four of us sipped our drinks and they were not made up to the standard we have come to expect. Rather than moaning about this on Facebook or somewhere else I did what most consumers should do and picked up the phone and called.
The staff was very apologetic and without hesitation offered to remake our drinks. We were not returning to town that day but did so Boxing Day.
In talking to the lady manning the window I came to learn that one of their machines broke down, they were short staffed and were low on ice. In short anything that could go wrong did. Totally understandable.
They remade our four drinks and treated us to four cookies.
It’s easy to take praise and compliments when you do a great job or offer a great product, but when customers are dissatisfied the sign of a good company is what they do to make things right.

Had a odd experience at my local starbucks after grabbing my drink and food i took a seat on my break to hear someone with a bit of a mouth on her i believe her name was steff, bad mouthing to one of her customers and other workers there not have not seen this one around before but i’d get rid of her before it ruins the community.

Ordering a simple drink in the drive through became an educational lesson in how to build a drink. I ordered a Venti iced tea lemonade add strawberry acai base. Whom ever was taking the order was struggling with the concept of adding the base to the iced tea that someone had to take over. I've been ordering this drink at multiple locations and never once have had such a weird/cold interaction. Very argumentative stating- its not the standard. If its not the standard then why is there a button on your POS system to add strawberry acai to cold drinks? Lol

A customer doesn't care how you have to punch it in - or how you make it. Made a simple order very very difficult for no reason. Please look into the staff at this location on Sunday afternoons as they really don't uphold the Starbucks standard of assuming the best and providing great service to every customer.

beyond rude,condescending attitude, called in to speak to someone about joel’s intense lengthly attitude at the window with my children present which is what she was complaining about was my two babies might i add!!!…very problematic managers they excuse staffs treatment of loyal customers… starbucks is a high end brand i know for a fact to call into head office and say what the store manager said to me today on the phone they would apologize say that’s not appropriate to say to a guest of starbucks and give me a gift card i haven’t even called in and i know that but this manager just said it’s a drive thru we’re busy i told him u guys had no one behind me and i can order as my children wish children don’t run on stores time my daughter asked for a waffle and i got ridiculed for it repeatedly she didn’t even give me my drink til she was done she is so lucky i had my kids present i would have had any choice words for her
