I stumbled on this place online while looking for a nice restaurant for my mum's 70th bday, and the goodhawk did not disappoint!
This restaurant is nestled in the village of hockley, and had a really relaxed yet fancy vibe to it.
Atmosphere: Walking in, the interior feels homey like being invited over to a friend's house. The lighting is more dim to set the mood, and there are no more than 8-10 tables in the whole place (smaller)....

Service was very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.
They are regularly changing the menu based on what's in season, using a lot of local ingredients.
We had the venison and the duck, and a winter greens salad, and it was all delicious.
