Horrible. An older employee kept screaming at my 20 year old sister and was very rude to her (and me) over a very small mistake she apologized multiple times for. Very gross behaviour. Do better.

Not bad since new owners took over. Not a fan of the red accents. Wings are good. Fries were good. Beer was good. Chicken curry was good. Place just needs more people and top notch meals. I think with special attention and elevating the chicken wings and food this place can be a popular staple and an easy 5 star.

Complete 360 from the past owners!!Andrea is the difference between a mediocre experience and leaving feeling as though your experience was perfect! Above and beyond service , attention to detail and honesty no complaints. It’s a pub - we get it but she makes you feel like family. The owners have found a gem in her! Also had the fish and it was not only HUGE but surprisingly less greasy than I anticipated- The chef with the piercings came out himself to ensure everything was good…. A little bit of special attention that felt great and let’s me as a customer know he is back there doing what he can to ensure the best experience Thank you!!!

Worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant the kitchen didn't know what they were doing and it took over a hour to get our food !!! The best thing is the waitress was very kind and nice gave us our food for free !
Absolutely delicious. I really love the Indian fusion items on the menu. I had the Taco masala and my partner had samosa quesadilla. The taco masala was phenomenal! Seriously sooo tasty. We went mid-afternoon on a Saturday and the service was a little slow but we both recommend this place.

This is a restaurant on the main Downtown Street. In Orangeville that has reopened now under new ownership. The new owners have brought a real English pub atmosphere by introducing Indian cuisine into normal British pub faRe just as they do in London. New is that this establishment now stays open throughout the evening and into the night and will also have live music. We sat on the patio on a nice July afternoon, which was excellent, and the food was both good and reasonably priced A highlight was the service by Anita This should be a trending place so come try it out

After a long hard day at work, I was happy to note that Thistle and Rose were one of the few restaurants in Orangeville that were still open at around 8:30pm on a Tuesday night. I was soo hungry, but soo extremely disappointed when my meal arrived looking like half a kids meal. Disappointed with the portion size, if that's the standard. Even a 10yr old would not be satisfied.
