I had an excellent experience at 2200 North! The restaurant really stands out with its friendly & accommodating staff, who made sure everything went smoothly despite the large crowd. The atmosphere was vibrant & welcoming. It’s clear that they excel at handling big events while maintaining a high level of quality.

This is not a serious restaurant/pub. While the servers are very nice, they never notice you (seat yourself sign) and most times you have to approach the bar to get served while they are on their phone. Kids playing mini sticks - in the restaurant!! Only go there while my kid plays hockey, would never go there besides that.
Showed up today (June 16) and the bar was closed! Supposed to be open until 12….jeez

Absolutely horrendous experience bartender with ponytail was extremely rude when i asked if they had jager bombs. Waited 20 mins for a drink he told me that’s reality, it’s a joke don’t spend your money here.

We were treated to some high quality pub fare with twists of originality. Consequently, 2200 North became my local "go-to" (I live close-by and walk) for a pub experience. This week (Dec 2023) I visited with some invited friends and was bitterly disappointed. The food and presentation was embarrassing. Nothing that we ordered (Nachos, wings, burger and fries) was anywhere near standard, let alone special. The nachos were baked to dry concrete. The boring frozen fries thrown on a tray were served luke warm. The wings were below average. Moreover, they got our order wrong (no jalapenos!) and they were "out" of sour cream. "Oh, sorry!" How do you say, "Going out of business?" It's too bad, the university neighbourhood deserved one good ol' pub experience among all the diversity offerings. This place would be a real gem if management stepped up! A shame.
