9 Spices is a cozy little Indian restaurant tucked away on Simcoe Street, and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re craving rich, flavorful Indian cuisine. We recently ordered takeout and tried the Butter Chicken, Lamb Biryani, Madras Lamb Curry, Plain Paratha, and Plain Roti, and overall, everything was delicious and well-prepared. I ordered the lamb korma on rice with a side of garlic roti for takeout and it was definitely a 10 out of 10 for me. I went with mild spices and should’ve leveled up for a bit more bite but ended up with a warm, delightfully seasoned curry. The portion size is large and the ratio of curry to rice was perfect. The garlic roti is a must and smelled amazing while I was waiting for my order.
