Was at baxters for my daughters birthday tonight, our server was fantastic he was so kind and attentive, food was great, They brought cheesecake for dessert and wrote her a birthday card it was the sweetest touches that made the experience here wonderful!

Honestly had the worst medium steak striploin of my life. It tastes like burned low low-quality meat. Mash potato and vegetables were cold! Service was pretty good tho and the shrimp starter was delusions. For the price I expected more.

My daughter and I had just spent the day together and we were starting to get hungry so we decided to try out this restaurant Baxter’s landing at the Oshawa mall. When we went in we were greeted by the hostess, she was extremely friendly and handed us a menu so we could look it over before we decided if we wanted to eat there. After glancing over the menu, this was definitely a place we wanted to try, our server was very knowledgeable, and he had amazing enthusiasm which made our dining experience even better. We ordered two mock tails, one appetizer and two mains, everything was delicious. Presentation was spot on, temperature was perfect and we can’t wait to go back again.

This isn’t your typical review. Today I went for lunch with my kids and my aunt. I’ve been to this place a bunch of times. The food and service have always been amazing and I have not once ever given a good review. Today the food was Just OK for myself but for the other patrons food was still good. This didn’t lead me to feeling like I need to leave a bad review, this led me to believing I really needed to leave a great review. Like I said, I have been here countless times for anniversaries, celebrations, “just because”, Friends dinners, birthday parties, You name it! The food and service have always been really great (Sidenote, even when I was pregnant and nauseous and didn’t want to eat anything, I was still able to order something off the menu and enjoy it). I realize That all my other great experiences Went without mention, but had I’ve chosen to leave one really bad review over today, it Could really affect an establishments business. Even though my entrée today was not what I wanted it to be, the service was phenomenal, the atmosphere was amazing, my kids were welcomed, and typically speaking the food is consistently good. What I’m saying is one bad review written, likely has 8 other great reviews unwritten. 10 out of 10 would recommend this place. They even charge my phone for me. Thanks you guys!

When I ate here with my friends, Zivian was our waitress and she was amazing. She made sure everything was good and was super friendly. She definitely made our experience better by making sure our food was to our liking and that we were having a good time. Hopefully when you eat here you will get her as a waitress.

We decided to try this place with my friends and it was a great choice to end our shopping day. The host was very cheerful and easy to talk to giving positive vibes to the atmosphere which already was very well decorated. We wanted to have a window view so he made sure to get us a nice spot. The food that we ordered was delicious too. I ordered the turkey burger and it was very well cooked. The server said it was one of their hits and she was right. It was perfectly cooked juicy and exaggerated with spices. The trio dip was a good adding to my dish. My friend ordered the taco fish and it was a big portion that she had to take it home. The fish tasted very good and the condiments were chosen properly. Definitely we had a great time and will be our go to spot if we want to have a good relaxing dining experience.

I work for a cross province agency and had the responsibility of picking a restaurant for my team to have lunch at the other day. I picked Baxter’s Landing. Danielle, the hostess, was kind, peppy and had the most welcoming energy. Alejandro, our server, was funny, clever, and had such a successful recommendation for my boss. I have been to Baxter’s a handful of times and it is always great but this was the best visit I have experienced. The staff felt like a well oiled machine that day. The food? Incredible. The service? The way it should be and more
My boss and her boss both were so impressed, as was I. Will be coming more when coming to Durham for meetings.
