Looks like a great little place and from what I can tell the food is great. We came for the Boshkung Brewery night which made for a full house. The atmosphere was great and there was lots of good energy. For some reason though there were only two wait staff on and they were run off their feet. We were thinking of dinner but we ran out of time. The ladies who were here were fantastic and tried very hard to keep up. Our waitress literally ran through the restaurant. We'll likely be back but at a slower time and definitely not on a specialty night such as this. To have two wait staff on during a night when you expect a full house is inexcusable. Perhaps someone called in sick or a suitable third or fourth couldn't be found but this sort of thing is becoming common in the area.

Arrived near closing time with a group of 6 and still received top tier service from our wonderful server, Alex! She was courteous, friendly, and kept the meal going at a wonderful pace, always checking in for anything we might need and ensuring no one’s glass was ever empty. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and beverage listings making great recommendations from the draught menu for my partner. On top of the excellent hospitality, the restaurant is decorated so stunningly and the food was delicious. I had the black bean “meat” loaf and was pleased to have such a flavourful vegetarian dish. I will happily be returning in the future to enjoy Alex’s service again and will be recommending my friends do the same! Thanks for a great night

The service was terrible. There was a single server running around answering the phone and serving guests while the others sat around yapping with the manager about their tips. I was waiting for the bill for several minutes. The food also took a long time to come out.Now, the food itself was horrible. The chicken cacciatore had chicken that tasted old and boiled, the vegetables were either undercooked or mush, and the flavor tasted like they had taken shortcuts and substitutes with this seasoning and cook times.The iced tea literally tasted like powdered brisk iced tea.The French onion soup was the best thing and was still pretty mediocre. I will not be back and would not recommend this place to anyone!

Berry Hill has quickly become our absolute favorite restaurant in Oshawa. The food is all fresh and real, the staff are delightful, and the atmosphere comfortable and inviting. Have tried most of the menu by now. The BLT AVO is my go to lunch, but today I branched out with the "In the Garden" Grilled Cheese and a side of deeply fragrant tomato soup for dipping and sipping. Amazing! Served by the ever friendly and helpful Byron, who mixed me up a lovely warm boozy coffee to go with my lunch. Five stars!

From Alberta and was looking for a cute local spot for brunch/lunch with family. Was so happy we found you! Excellent food and service. I had the eggs with tomato sauce and feta and chickpeas and it was so yummy. My mother in law and aunt had their rum banana French toast and it was scrumptious. Definitely will want to try again for their lunch and dinner menus. Thank you for a wonderful experience we will be back!

This is my first time trying out this restaurant. I went at an off hour so there weren't too many people in the restaurant. The servers were friendly and prompt and seemed enthusiastic about the food offered. I got a coffee which came with a cute miniature pitcher of cream as well as The Daily Soup which was a chorizo and vegetable soup. It was one of the most delicious soups I've eaten in a long time. It came with fresh baked bread which was so delicious and a nice touch. For my main course I got The Farmhouse salad; it was phenomenal and full of delicious vegetables, greens, and a nice maple vinaigrette. This is a place I'll definitely return to as there are a few other offerings on the menu that I would like to try.
