This was once the crown jewel of vegan food in Durham region. Unfortunately after a recent visit I can no longer recommend them.
Although the service was friendly communication was a struggle. I asked if they still had the Nashville chicken sandwich and after being told that they do have it; I received nothing more than a piece of chicken between two buns. The fries were completely undercooked, borderline raw. The coffee was harsh and tasted very over extracted.
Aside from the food being a disappointment other aspects have also significantly deteriorated. The restaurant was understaffed and cleanliness was not up to par. Hopefully the new owners can help bring this establishment back to what it once was, however for now I reserve my hesitations.

Have gone to this restaurant since it opened. But was extremely disappointed in my food today. The first image is what I got, the second what I ordered. It is missing half the toppings. The rest of the meal Copper bowl and Bao buns were very scant and not the quality we are used to getting at Copper Branch.

Really should focus on hiring staff that can communicate better with customers. Have staff know the menu to give suggestions maybe? Feels like a Tim Hortons

This place is ridiculously terrible quality now. It used to be my favourite, and still is one of my only options at this time. Missing ingredients, sloppily made, wrong ingredients and poorly cooked items are all i seem to experience now. And unfortunately because it’s always delivery, I can’t even request a refund for this mess because it’s horrible every time. I lose out on a refund because of the amount of times this place had been horrible. Blame me all you want for choosing this used-to-be-high quality restaurant when it continues to let me down, but when you are starving and out of options and no ability to go anywhere, you gotta just eat something or starve.

Used to be one of my favorites but now I'm not sure what happened- quality has seen to gone downhill a bit. Everything was really soggy or tasteless. The fries were cold inside, can tell they were frozen fries. Not sure why the sour cream was squeezed on the way it was on the pizza in the picture below but it wasn't appetizing. This used to be one of my favorite places. That GF artichoke & asiago pizza used to be everything.

The employee was very welcoming at put me at ease. I have a number of food intolerances and she helped me navigate the menu. Also, their s’mores cookies are SOOO good!! 😊 I’d have included a pic of the food and cookies, but I ate them so quickly because yum. Their coffees are very good, too, and they have multiple options for milk substitutes… the last bite of cookie is in my cheek lol

I loved the vibe of the place but when I got home, the food tasted terrible. I paid 20$ for my poutine to be undercooked (I genuinely don’t think there was a single properly cooked fry), and my wrap was small, cold, and tasted terrible. Please be very cautious if you ever want to go here but I won’t ever be returning.

I wanted to share something that made my day earlier this week. I put in a regular order for pick up (I usually order 1-2x per week) and when I got back to my car I noticed a yellow sticky note on my takeout package. It was a note from an employee who went out of her way to thank me for being a loyal customer, and that she smiles when she sees my orders come through.
This employee really went above and beyond to share a personal note, and it meant a lot. I unfortunately didn't get her name, but wanted to pass along my thanks.
I've always had the best customer service at Copper Branch Oshawa, which speaks a to the great skill and character of their employees.
Thank you!
First time trying this place. I heard that it’s all vegan food.
We bought shiitake mushroom burger which was ok it was good as a vegan burger (cannot compare to calorie rich regular beef burger with sauces). But it was guilty free meal
and Asian fusion power bowl was good as per cashier they ran out of edamame and also missing some sauces fir taste.
Hubby loved his latte and chocolate chip cookie.

Out of most ingredients and the dishes are not the same as they used to be.
This will be my last visit.

We used to come here at least once a week and make the drive out there on a Friday which is at least a 20 minute drive for us.
We haven’t been in a few months and my husband was working out of town and decided to pick up food on his way home. He ordered us the Nashville sandwich, but when we got home we opened it up and it was not what we thought we were getting.
He was not advised when he called that it was no longer available and when we called to express our disappointment, the blame was put on him for not knowing that it was no longer available on the menu and he should have known that and this is how they make it now. Basically, just a “chicken” sandwich. He also called 45 mins before pickup and still had to wait 15 mins when he got there to pick it up.
The fries were basically warmed raw potatoes and when we called they didn’t offer anything to make it better.
We loved the staff before at copperbranch and only had good experiences there. Clearly, there has been some staff changes and sadly we will not be returning.

This used to be my favorite spot, but they changed ownership and the quality has dropped severely. The food is burned now, tables are dirty, new servers are not nearly as friendly as the old ones. this used to be a delicious place to get good vegan food. If I were starting off being vegan now, this would turn me off of it completely. Very sad, I miss the old owners. The new owners would have done better taking over a subway or other-fast food profit driven business. This used to be a place where there was care and love in the food and atmosphere.

What a beautiful place to be at. BUT…
A. When your menu lists “KID’S CHICK’N FINGERS”, any reasonable customer would assume it’s a single meal that includes chicken fingers with fries — not two separate items. At no point were we informed that fries were being added as an extra charge.
B. The staff asking “Do you need ketchup on the side?” does not make it clear that a separate order of fries is being placed. This is extremely misleading, as was later explained by the staff.
C. When the food arrived and we questioned it, the staff’s justification — “I confirmed you need ketchup on the side, it was for a separate fries plate” — was not only illogical but delivered with a horrible attitude. Completely unacceptable.
D. Our order included an Aztec Power Bowl, a Ramen Bowl (which we were told couldn’t be served because there was no tofu — yet tofu magically appeared on it anyway), and “KID’S CHICK’N FINGERS” for my two-year-old.
Nothing was fresh. The vegetables — broccoli, bok choy, edamame — were sad, dehydrated, and stinking. My little one didn’t take a single bite because the food was hard, dry, and practically unchewable. I even tasted it myself to understand why she kept spitting it out — it was 100% not edible. Straight to the trash.
I came to explore this place because of the unique menu and good reviews. I was so upset with the kids’ meal that I didn’t even bother taking photos.
A complete waste of money, appetite, and honestly a bit of trauma. I genuinely wonder how this place survives.

This has always been one of my favourite restaurants. I haven't been since the summer until the other night. It was the first time I've ever left there disappointed. When I first walked in, a few of the tables still had dirty dishes at them, and the counter to leave dishes and fill your water glass was also full and messy. They still had a sign on the wall advertising their new summer drinks, even though summer is long over and we are approaching winter. I tried ordering three different items and was told they were either out of stock, or don't serve it anymore, even though it was still on the menu. The employee did not speak English very well, so it was difficilt to understand why exactly they didn't have the items that was ordering. I wasn't asked if I was eating in or taking out (I was eating in), and my food was served in a takeout bag. Unfortunately the restaurant seems to be slipping
Happy Cow wouldn’t let me give below a 2 star. This restaurant used to be good. It must have changed hands. We took our son there for his Birthday yesterday and he has been sick since. Our bowls were not right, looking like the ingredients were dumped in. Mushrooms were dumped in soggy looking like dog food. I felt put off eating it. The smithy was very wrong as well. If it wasn’t the bao buns the smoothie was the food poisoning culprit. The heat wasn’t on and the food took forever. A stark contrast to last year when the last staff brought out cake for him and things were impeccable. An 80 lunch that makes people ill. No thanks!
