As a first-time visitor, I found the experience both exciting and overwhelming. In a state of shock, my initial instinct was to order something familiar: coffee with almond milk and honey. Since I was alone, I felt some pressure to quickly make a decision, so I chose to order something simple (medium coffee $3.67) before taking the time to explore the various options.
Upon entering, I was struck by the bar-like atmosphere and the high-quality design of the space. It truly made an impression. The ambiance grew on me, and I plan to sit by the street-facing windows next time maybe. For now, I enjoyed settling into a comfortable couch, kicking off my shoes, and sitting cross-legged in the basement. The music volume was manageable. The genre, not so much.
This place is certainly unique, and I noticed there’s an upstairs area as well. I would definitely consider returning, after taking some time to evaluate the prices. I have had better coffee; ☕️ ? Tim Horton,??? and If I were to come back I would be curious to try something specialty. Maybe the staff could recommend something because you would think they should know what's best! What sells!
I Would have liked, and tried to purchase a picture that was available and displayed for purchase, which resonated with me, but I was told I can not. No negotiations. Shame! Disappointed. Firm! Tough! Understood!.

We rented the space for a bridal shower. The staff, from the time we booked the venue to the moment we left after the shower was so easy. Staff were friendly, accommodating and so friendly. I would highly recommend this location!

The people who work here are amazing and super friendly. The peanut butter cup iced latte is fantastic, and the selection of pastries are all delicious. They host a ton of fun events too.

I'd not been here since the new management had managed the establishment.
The fact that there were BLM and 2SLGBTQ+ flags within clear view the moment you enter is awesome. It instantly promotes a brave space and I deeply appreciate that (as I'm sure others do too).
Live music was playing that night and it was fantastic. There was a really chilled and welcoming feel to the space. We were greeted by Ben (the new owner) and his awesome canine companion. Both were fantastically welcoming and chatted to us for some of the evening. The bar staff were great. Not only were they friendly and professional, but they were patient and knowledgeable regarding which drink I should try.
TL:DR- This place has a calm, welcoming feel the moment you step through the door. Staff are kind and professional. The fact that this establishment supports and works alongside other local businesses is additionally brilliant. The drinks were great and the owner was great as was his dog. I highly recommend visiting.

Cute place. I go to the Uni across the street- Ordered a Matcha Latte but got a Latte by mistake.. Didn't have time to run back and get my order corrected. Will try the Matcha Latte next time I suppose.

Decided to be extra today and ordered a LARGE caramel macchiato for $6, the takeout cup it was only half full of liquid and topped up with foam. For those prices for a coffee, you’d think they’d give you a sufficient amount. Was tasty though
