Eat My Shortbread

Literally the best shortbread I've ever had in my life. Not only were they incredibly tasty but the custom designs on top were absolutely adorable. I cannot recommend them enough! Perfect for gifting or marking a special occasion. The only thing I'd say is make sure you order a few extra for yourself because you will regret it if you don't.

I live in Ajax and I can't drive but I used to make the very long trek to Oshawa Mall to buy from EMS. It was unfortunate when they left the building. I found out a few years back that they have a brick and mortar in Oshawa and did online orders so I was very excited.

I can't always afford to place an order but I did on Tuesday and received my order today. It is soooooo good so far. And I think they left an extra cookie in my order too which I wasn't expecting. 🥹

I bought two buttercrunch toffee shortbread cookies, a French truffle butter tart, and two packages of "Craic" which is salted caramel shortbread. The package was hand delivered to me at my door by a really friendly associate and Trisha, the owner, left a nice little thank you note in my box. I guess this is a smaller owned business than I realised? I wish for them to get bigger though because I need more locations! Either way, nothing negative to say. The shortbread is soft and buttery, it's not too sweet or too salty. Everything melts in your mouth. I will continue buying from this establishment when I can as long as they continue to stay open.

Also I wanted to add a photo of everything I got but I genuinely started eating it right away and didn’t think to take the photo. The cookies and butter tart were my breakfast lol

The counter person asked us if we wanted some free cookies and no catch. She gave us one each which she was kind to give us. I purchased the shortbread buttter tart which was so delicious. She asked if we wanted a bag she gave it complimentary it was a nice and sturdy one too. Overall nice person very rare to find that nowadays with businesses

I recently tried the shortbread bites, and they were amazing. The buttery taste was perfect. You can tell that Trisha puts a lot of love and care into making them. This shortbread is not just a snack; it’s something special.

Best. Buttertarts. Ever. The middle has the perfect creaminess (not runny) and the crust is a delicious shortbread. There is nothing comparable I have found.

The owner of this business was kind enough to give us some free tarts at the craft beer fest in Newmarket. When I tell you I have never had a better sweat in my life is not an exaggeration. If you are not a fan of crust these are 100% for you. The shortbread base changes the game. It is so moist and taste so good. I would highly recommend.

Eat my shortbread deserves no less than 10 stars! The butter tarts were incredible and made with such care and love. It gets better! Not only were the treats amazing, but Trish treated us like family and after just 5 minutes I felt like it. I would go back within a heartbeat and I am positive you will feel the same way!

The quality of their products are next level. No, I’m not that person who writes good reviews for the business owners. Yes, I am that person who writes reviews when something I experienced needs to be addressed. Run and don’t walk….Take an Uber….Call a Cab…just get to Eat My Shortbread as soon as you can!!! Best butter tart I’ve ever had.

We had ordered from Eat My Shortbread website. It was such an easy process placing the order plus we were delighted to have it delivered a couple of days later. We ordered a few bags of Craic, shortbread and a couple of trays of lemon and original tarts. (Which all arrived in perfect condition)Definitely made with love and butter. We will certainly reorder soon! Five stars!!

OMG the shortbread is a MUST BUY! Sampled at One Food and purchased the Salted Caramel Shortbread and I have never had anything like it. You’ll be buying more once you try it.
