I visited today Fat Bastard Burrito at 1800 Simcoe Street, and I have to say—it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. The food was fresh, loaded with flavour, and made exactly the way I like it, but what truly made my visit exceptional was Ishrat.
From the moment I walked in, Ishrat greeted me with a warm smile and an amazing attitude. She was incredibly patient, professional, and genuinely passionate about making sure I got the perfect burrito. Her attention to detail, friendly energy, and customer-first approach made the whole experience stand out.
People like Ishrat are the reason customers keep coming back. Fat Bastard Burrito is lucky to have someone who represents the brand with such positivity and care.

FOOD POISONING WARNING I deleted my last 5-star review because this one matters much more! My partner and I got the same food poisoning right after eating our last burritos from this place, on SEPERATE OCCASIONS; he had it last week and we liked the burritos so much that we werent sure. But i had one yesterday, and man.. im not well! What a shame..

So the owners stat3d to email them for clarity. And i did. I was ignored, so there you go.
Imagine my surprise, to hear that the fish and chicken are fried in the same oil. I can only imagine that the pork and the beef be dancing too. What about people with dietary restrictions? That's wild to me. After standing up for a few minutes praying to be acknowledged by staff, we are finally told about the preparation methods for fish. This is just a heads-up. Please beware.

First time trying this place. Got the loaded waffle fries, did not disappoint, yummy! Had leftovers of the toppings so used on tortillia chips. Will be a return customer!

The guac was somehow only on one side of the burrito, so the bottom half was guacless (no big deal though) I also paid for the cilantro-lime sauce, which was very indistinguishable :( (maybe I’ll get it on the side next time and drop it on each bite)
