Decided to give Halibut House another try, considering I wasn't overly happy with my meal on my last visit. I ordered Halibut and fries, asked for my fish to be well done. The fish was ok but slightly greasy. While eating my fries, I noticed a small bug on a fry. I called the waiter over and he apologized and said he would get me a fresh order of fries. I decided to have onion rings instead. He brought me a small plate to put my fish on to eat while waiting for the onion rings. Onion rings arrived and they were in a large clump and you could see the grease pooling on the plate. I tried a few rings, but they were not appetizing at all. Decided to ask for my bill, and told the waiter how disappointed I was with the meal. I showed him the clump of onion rings. He told me he removed the cost of my ginger ale for my trouble. Minus the ginger ale, my bill was still $28.00!! Unbelievable!

The service was 👌 super friendly, very welcoming and polite. Food was fresh, very good and the fries were great. Affordable and had that old restaurant feel, if you appreciate nostalgia. Didn’t realize it was so close to the mall, sometimes you get bored of eating in the court especially when it’s close to closing time. Will definitely come back with the family and recommend.

We went there with my family. Ordered calamari as an appetizer. And ordered 2 of the daily specials, one fish tacos and one Battered Mushrooms. After the server dropped of the Calamari, we never had sharing plates and she never came to check on us how was the Calamari. We were waiting for her to come so we can ask for sharing plates but she never showed up. We used Napkins as our sharing plates. And when she came all our main that time she dropped off the mains. That time also never came to check on us how we are doing and do we need anything. At the end she came when we are about 95% done eating. Because of the worst service my didn’t even tip her on credit card. But I still left some cash about 8% of the bill. Overall not happy at all and not coming back.
