My husband and I went for lunch and this is now one of our new favorite restaurants! I ordered the garlic noodles with shrimp and my husband got the shaking beef. Both were so fresh and delicious! I am looking forward to going back soon. Thanks again !

The portion sizes are insanely big, you definitely get two meals out of it. I had the House Special vermicelli, it was really good. The pork included is a bit different, it is very flavourful and gives a bit of a spam texture. I probably wouldn't order it again. The fresh cold rolls were so good, the peanut sauce is delish. I also had a Caesar drink that had a bit of an Asian flare with Sriracha and it was really good!

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. The tofu soup and cold rolls were really good.

I ordered take out. I got the lemon grass chicken banh mi. The chicken and bread were good, however the vegetables were not pickled and there was way too much overwhelming mayo. The mayo drowned out all the other ingredients. Also ordered garlic beef noodles. The noodles were well cooked, chewy (in a good way), and had a nice wok flavour, but the sauce was too sweet and lacked garlic flavour. Finally, the house pho shocked me. The broth was not aromatic and very salty, like a powdered pho broth mix… the noodles were poor quality and meat portion was small (I did not receive any beef brisket). I am not sure what all the hype is about. The food didn't live up to those five star standards.

Hanoi House is one of our favourite restaurants. We usually order through their website and pickup, but the inside of the restaurant is warm and inviting. My go to is the vermicelli. We ordered from their Chinese pop-up at Christmas and it was absolutely delicious too!

This is a little gem in Peterborough that is definitely worth trying. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxing….making it easy to forget the outside world for a few moments in time and just enjoy the time with friends/family and great food. We had the fresh shrimp rolls to start….they did not disappoint. We both had the house vermicelli bowl….as pictured (minus the first bite as could not wait to taste it). The bowl was full of fresh vegetables, meat and vermicelli….with fantastic fish sauce on the side. We enjoyed every bite and will definitely be back.
