_Update- Seems like new owners from last time I posted my original review. Very good stuff here guys.
Great food for a good price.
Very nice clean restaurant with good parking available. The service was great and very polite. The food was great! It's fresh, and the vegetables are done just right. The fried rice is nice and fluffy, with no clumps in it. I love egg foo Yung, and theirs is delicious. The chicken balls are full of chicken, not just a tiny little piece with a lot of batter like some places give you now. Overall, good food and I would highly recommend it.
Food was cheap and most importantly delicious 😋. The restaurant was quite.
Truly disappointed.
Was ordering two dinners a soup and order of Cantonese chow main.
Charged me extra to change spring rolls to egg rolls...ok.
Than charged me $1.00 for each soya sauce and $1.00 for each plum sauce.
Apparently we are only intiled to have three soya sauces and two plum sauces.
Plus extra charges for the yellow hard noodles/ crackers that go in your meal. ( I'm sorry not sure what they are called.
Food is very good!!!
I'm a regular customer until today.
Debit...you can only debit if you leave a good tip.
It literally would not allow me to make my own tip.
All the extra charges are not worth it.
Always on time. GEAT FOOD always FRESH!
Amazing customer services!
This is one of the oldest chinese restaurants in Oshawa. It has survived the recession,s, pandemic, competition pressure and increased operating costs by simply provided great for a great price. Takeout is the way to go but, they do have limited seating.
The food was straight 🗑️ I have never seen such a lack of love for food. I ordered one of the combos and wanted to sub the rice for noodles and that came at a 3$ charge which I had no problem paying, then it arrives to the table and my plate has a big lump of plain noodles with no veg or anything, it literally was like they boiled 2 packs of Mr noodles with 5 drops of soy sauce and put on my plate. The chicken wings were decent but the chop suey was way below par and I'm pretty sure the chicken wasn't fully cooked it, it was rubbery raw texture and looked pink to me. The FOH guy assured me that they boil it and then cook again so maybe I'm in my head but I'll post pictures anyway so you can judge for yourself. The one good thing about the meal was the egg rolls, they were decent. At the end of the experience the FOH guy deducted money although I told him not to as it changes nothing, money is not what I'm after and all I was proper food. I tipped 0 and paid 30 ish dollars for 3 people to barely eat their plates. The inside has seen better days and the food could use a lot of work. This place should just stop and close up shop, seems like their best days are long gone.
Our family has been ordering from here for over 30 years and just the other day the food arrived extremely late(to be exact an hourand a half later). We would have understood that perhaps it was busy that evening but it ended up being freezing cold. We ended up calling to discuss our concerns and say we would like a refund due to the food being so awful. The owner got on phone and began to yell and disagree. Saying there was no way that it was late and how he had the time we orderd written down. Of course this information was wrong and he continue to yell with no care for our concerns. It was just awful. I would not recommend ordering from here as there is definitely something wrong with the owner and perhaps has even changed ownership since the last time we ordered.
First time ordering from here tonight. Very very disappointed in their fried rice. Zero flavour. Chicken balls were on point. Beef and broccoli?? I don’t even know if it was beef! Honestly. Was so rubbery and lacked any kind of taste. Noodles were, ok. Egg foo young was good, minus that thick yukky stuff they so called “gravy”. Def won’t be coming back.

Just ordered Pan Fried Beef Flat Rice Noodle, Dinner For One No.3
Beef chop suey, Diced Beef with Vegetables & Almonds and Beef with Mushrooms. Portions were generous. Food was fresh. Very tasty! We were pleasantly surprised that the mixed veggies weren't just celery and onion like other places. (Box choy, carrots, celery and onion). Will definitely return.
I ordered 2x per month.
Same meals.
Ask for Egg Roll instead of Spring Roll, that goes with my meal.
Was just told 75 cents to upgrade.
Pardon?
Spring Roll is $2.01
Egg Roll is $2.59
58 cents difference.
It's the respect level.
I'm literally hurt as a customer.
I have ordered from here for years but tonight the food was horrendous. The food was lacking its proper flavour and had an off taste. I ordered sweet and sour chicken that was over cooked and dried out.The chicken balls were hard enough to knock a tooth out. See attached pic. The chicken is suppose to be where the finger is pointing. I called the restaurant and the apparent cook claimed there was no way anything could have been over cooked and refused to offer a resolution to the problem. I bought this food for my family and now I’m forced to throw it out.
It's run down and is not warm and inviting. The staff is not welcoming and didn't even seat us. We ended up leaving before they could even take our order. I would not recommend this place for a sit-down meal. Maybe take out.
The beef in the beef and greens was horrible.
