I enjoy getting a specialty coffee/tea and a sandwich from this place. I noticed the staff always skip the tip option on the machine because “people are always in a rush”; no! Don’t do that. They deserve tips for their service and if someone has time to walk into a coffee shop to order, they have a spare second to tip (if they choose to do so) so please don’t automatically skip that option because the staff loses out on money.

I am writing a review for the Charles Hall location. I have continuously attempted to support this cafe at the Charles Hall Location, but have never once been treated with either a warm welcome or quality customer service. For instance, I went in today and asked for a cup of ice, but was told by the staff member that they do not have any ice. I then said I would purchase an iced coffee with no coffee (just a cup of ice), and the staff member was ready to charge me for the cup of ice (at an iced coffee price), which I was told they apparently did not have. I was ready to pay the iced coffee price for a cup of ice and pointed out that she was dishonest to me, saying they did not have ice. She did explain that they do not charge for ice, but she handled the whole encounter in a rude manner, which made me uncomfortable, so I turned around and walked out. This will be the last time I put myself in this environment and support this cafe. It is disappointing to be continuously treated with such poor customer service on your own University Campus, especially from a cafe that chooses to be here.

I visit Isabella’s location in Charles Hall since I am a student, and have never experienced good service. The employees constantly seem unhappy, and are often times snarky and seem as if they do not want to be there. I frequently ask questions about their baked goods and drinks when I am indecisive and never receive a response that seems like they care, it makes me feel as if I am a burden. The iced drinks constantly have minimal/no ice in them, and the baked goods are mediocre for the pricing. It is unfortunate.

Great and kind staff and cute chill relaxing space in Downtown Oshawa. Had to stay here for an hour of virtual meeting and it was a good place to stay at. Fair mobile signal.
I loved seeing their art pieces and would definitely browse some more to buy as gifts for birthdays, Christmas, etc. They value art and quality. I ordered choco banana because I was craving milkshake when I visited there — it tasted nice and healthy.
Very accessible to public transit.
