Great place! Great people! Last time I shopped there, the people were so friendly, patient, and attentive. The atmosphere had a 'home town shop' feel. There was a sweet lady with a charming accent (Scottish I think) who helped me. Next time I go, I'm trying their meat pies!
Bakery goods are decent (certainly wouldn’t get awards in the UK) in the stores that sell them but they’re VERY VERY expensive for grocery and chocolates compared to their competitors. Shop around is my advice.

Selling food that’s been expired for 3.5 months??!! Very classy Kings Cross
The employees are rude to all customers whom arnt British from observation of interactions between different customers and staff. As well they sold me three month expired chocolate bars without it being advertised as such. Disgusting practices in the store. Shame.
Spent $10 on a chocolate bar, just to find out when I got home that it expired 3 MONTHS ago. Who knows what else is expired in the shop.Employees need to work in n the customer service too

During the pandemic it is hard to get UK goods, even in the UK they are low on items like crisps so I wasn't surprised that they were low on some items but they did have a good selection in general. I picked up pork pies that my husband loved and some lamb and mint pies that were delicious. Will try their Simcoe St store next time.
Very friendly staff. It's got some of the staple snacks and general foods from Ireland and the UK.
