Makimono Sushi Bar & Restaurant

Everything was absolutely amazing!!! Bomb.com highly recommend.

I have been going to makimono for years now and it has never disappointed me once. The buffet is the way to go if it’s your first time and try out the hot and sour soup.

Great food

Rolls were a small step above grocery store sushi. Tempura had no flavour and was somehow chewy and not crisp. Black pepper beef was luke warm and steak was cool like the shrimp skewer. It wasn't busy. A child was ill to their stomach (as in vomit) at the table beside us and while they cleaned it up they left the paper towels etc there and the smell was not going away (the fact the family stayed and the kid was covered didn't help). We had to ask for a change in table and the place wasn't busy but they made it seem like we were being so unreasonable. Our first and last time at this chain.

The food was okay, the proteins were mostly on the sweet side and the rice tasted like smoke. Overall an okay place.

This place is great

Well we are new to the area and wanted to try out a sushi place. It was absolutely horrible. The fish is not fresh, it tastes extra fishy as if it had been sitting out. And for the price you pay and the quality. I'd never go back nor recommended!

Good food, good service.

Fresh huge delicious servings for lunch for $30 tax in for two. I doubt you will find a better meal. Bento box was served with California rolls and assorted tempura shrimp and a large serving of teriyaki chicken with soup, rice and salad included. The tempura box came with assorted tempura and rice and soup and salad. Great service and a very clean restaurant. Highly recommend.

I love this place. I've been here a few times, the food is always tested good, but during rush hour it's quite noisy and uncomfortable

Not worth your money. The atmosphere was loud and intrusive. There were old happy birthday decorations on multiple tables where a party had not been cleaned after, and they seated new guests at the tables.
We received the wrong order twice and when we finally got the right food it was 1 hour after arriving.
The selection was sub-par and the overall experience was not enjoyable.
A wendys creates a better atmosphere than makimono.

What we got was pretty good. Can’t fault the chefs. It’s loud and busy, and the robots seem to hinder the waitstaff more than help. Got a lot of the wrong food though, and heard other tables complain about the same thing.

We had a very good time. The staff there were very friendly and nice.

I've been to this location may times, as it's right around the corner from my house.

I recently visited to try their new menu items. The tea tower was so incredibly beautiful; I loved this option. The sashimi was fresh and the Aburi Sushi so smoky. Visually, this item is so pretty; it's Instagram worthy.

The new lunch and dinner combos are perfect if you're not wanting the all you can eat price tag. Plenty to choose from and the portions are good. I had the lunch combo which included 2 Appetizers + 3 Mains + 1 Dessert.

I love the robots and the interior decorations. The pattern on the roof is a sushi rolling mat!
