I love coming to Markol. I get all my coffee syrups and matcha powder from here and the experience is always a 10/10. They always have an amazing selection of syrups and the staff are always super friendly and helpful.

I have been buying my coffee products here for years, as I prefer to support local when I can. Unfortunately they don’t seem to appreciate their loyal local customers, which was quite a shock for me. I purchased a $40 bottle of Torani sauce, the same bottle I always buy and never had an issue. This time, I had huge brown chunks fall into my cup while pouring from the bottle, I panicked and looked inside the bottle and was shocked to see it was also full of brown chunks. Clearly the bottle was spoiled, rotten, wasn’t made properly etc. No problem as surely the store would replace my rotten bottle with a good new one right!? Nope. I contacted the store and had to receive 2 phone calls back as the young girl working at the store wasn’t familiar with the exchange process and had to try to get ahold of a manager. She then calls back and told me I need to send an email with pictures of the issue. Confused as to why I need to take the time to do this when they have a store front, but sure, I went ahead and did that. They responded to me a few hours later absolutely refused to do anything. Told me based on the date it was my fault and I had been using the product too long? Funny part is I never provided them with a date at all, only pictures of the rotten chunks. They proceeded to tell me I can contact Torani if I want to try and get them to do something about it… but I didn’t shop at the Torani Store, I shopped at Markol. Absolutely shocking they are willing to loose a loyal customer instead of having correct customer service and exchanging a rotten product they sold me. I will no longer be shopping here and will have Amazon deliver it to my doorstep instead.

Very helpful and friendly staff, needed to grab a few green options while on a work trip, unfortunately the loose portioned tea selection was much like any other non specialty tea shop, product appeared quite dated when I brought it home. The essence of milk oolong, and jasmin green tea was very weak, low quality old product no longer fit for consumption in my personal experience, however I am a chinese tea snob. Any who, cheers!

We entered the store and were warmly greeted by a charming young lady. Jessica’s loves people and it shows in her caring and loving demeanour, and her megawatt smile lights up the room. She answering all our questions and made some great recommendations. I’m a repeat customer and have been for many years. Jessica is definitely icing on the cake.

Bring back Kahlua !!!!! I drink it by the case full. It is my favorite flavor !!! And if I can suggest a new flavor, I used to drink a licorice instant coffee and I would love to see it in perked. Could you suggest it to your Head office? Your service and products are great.
