We were incredibly grateful to be able to host our group of 20 people here at Mexitaco. The half price tuesday tacos were an absolute hit with our party. The staff were so accommodating and had all the tables set up before we arrived. The food was so fresh and everything tasted authentic. Thank you for creating such a warm memory for us! We'll be back!

Went for an early dinner (4:30PM) on a Saturday. We were the only table. Server was pleasant throughout - great work! Unfortunately, the nachos weren't very good, way too much onion, and the chips were too crunchy. The tacos we had were delicious, so well done on that. My biggest frustration was payment at the end. They charged an extra 5.5% after I input my tip. I'm not sure if this was to make up for 'credit card fees', but this felt dishonest and unfair. I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant as a result.

What a hidden gem in Downtown Oshawa! Our server was so friendly and the atmosphere was so nicely decorated! We got the all you can eat special, which was a great deal!! We got to try all the taco’s and they were all incredible!!!! Probably the best I have ever had :) We will definitely be back! If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food that tastes like it’s straight from Mexico , this place is a must try !

I had a really enjoyable visit overall. The food tasted fresh and flavorful, and I liked that they began the meal by offering a variety of hot sauces and salsas. The drinks were excellent too—I ordered a piña colada, and it was delicious.
The only downside was that the service felt a bit slow, especially since the place wasn’t crowded. That said, the atmosphere more than made up for it. The décor was beautifully done and created a great vibe. I’d definitely come back.

I ordered on a Saturday dinner for my husband and I for pick up! I arrived at the restaurant walked in not sure where to go as this was my first time ordering from here. There was 4 staff standing by the bar no one acknowledged me just starred then a lovely man who seemed to be the bar tender came over to me told me it would be a few more miniutes for my order, no problem I can wait I stood off to the side where the staff still just started at me they weren’t busy let’s just say! Then I seen my order come out get placed on a table where 3 wait staff were standing and talking to each other then again the bar tender noticed my order was there and brought it to me! Then I brought the food home I live about a 5 miniute drive from the restaurant! Looking forward to our meal since this was our first time trying their food! I ordered the chicken quesadilla and cauliflower bites my husband got the burrito! I bit into my quesadilla it was so soggy and had a very strange taste not even sure what it was it was a tart sour taste so I couldn’t eat it! Then I opened my cauliflower bites which were not bites at all they were large chunks of cauliflower with so much batter in then that was still raw and doughy they were gross! So let’s say I did not enjoy anything about my experience at this restaurant and will never go back! .

A really authentic Mexican restaurant. Lovely atmosphere!! Staff ( Danna, Manuel, Alex, Lara etc ...are phenomenal except for one guy who's always miserable and speaks badly about customers. He should be fired. Rude and lazy..( sad )

Really great Mexican food here! Everything we ordered was great but the chicken enchiladas were the best! Most people there were Spanish speaking and they even had live entertainment! I had been to the Vic Park and St Clair restaurant but I didn't know there was one in Oshawa! AWESOME FOOD!!

Had my first meal at Mexitaco Oshawa and it was delicious. I had the Baja fish tacos and 2 for $8.99 is a great deal but on taco Tuesday they're 1/2 price! I'll definitely be back to try more menu options. l also had a happy hour margarita which was equally delicious. My friend also enjoyed her meal and will be back. Highly recommend for the food and the Mexican music, but don't expect a fancy restaurant.
