The folks here were pretty friendly and I had a very good time. Definitely looking forward to popping by whenever I visit from Manitoba, thank you all for treating me like a valued guest while I was visiting my mother for the weekend.
A lot of the patrons themselves were also pretty cool. Everyone seemed to know everyone.

I ordered steak and lobster as takeout last night, and both were impressively fresh and flavorful. The steak had a subtle smoky depth and was expertly seasoned, making for an excellent meal. Even with takeout, the experience was enhanced by the friendly and professional service from the gentleman who assisted me. My only suggestion would be for the mashed potatoes to have a creamier, more indulgent consistency to better complement the rest of the dish.
