For close to 18 years I was a steady loyal customer. Today is the last time that I will order food from Oshawa Thai Cuisine.I knew all of you well, and watched your children grow with mine!Now when I enter the restaurant I feel as if the life has been sucked out of here. I no longer recognize any of the staff.I stuck with you through the pandemic, and the inflation defending the crazy costs by saying that this is the best Thai food in Canada. And I can say this with authority as this individual who brought this to my attention lives in Thailand and has traveled abroad tasting this lovely cuisine globally. 18 years ago the food here was the best outside of Thailand.Not today.My food was completely different. Texture, taste, quality, quantity all subpar to what the food here used to be.There was confusion, no one seemed to know what was going on. No hygienic tissue in either bathroom.Bad just bad.I think that this business has been entrusted to new owners or management.

got take out here a few times and the lunch specials are so worth the price!! everything I’ve tried was good - green curry, cashew chicken, sweet and sour pork, sesame chicken. also really like the tanginess from the salad dressing!

I've ordered here for years an the past year the quality has took a deep nose dive. The food isn't made with love anymore. Probably the worst I've tasted. Definitely a different recipe. Never will I order her again.

NOT Thai.The only thing Thai about this place is the name so I cannot in good conscience give it a 5 star. It’s a Chinese place who uses mango, peanuts and basil leaf.And super salty beef.I “may” return if I’m in the mood for Chinese food, never Thai. It might be an “okay” place for Oshawa.

I used to eat here every week when I get back home I'm going directly to this place the food is fantastic it's my all time favorite and the lady that owns the place is fantastic she knows my voice and sometimes you may get a little extra great people amazing food prices on point it's a must eat at store!!!

Went for a casual date night out with my girlfriend. The place was empty but we prefer the quiet. We know it to be more takeout oriented, especially on weekdays so it was perfect. The service was fast and very friendly. The portions were good for the price as we had to still take boxes for the leftovers. The flavors of the coconut shrimp curry and shrimp soup were amazing. We will definitely return.Vegetarian options: There are options here for you.Dietary restrictions: They take your restrictions seriously and will listen to advise you of what to order.Parking: Parking around the restaurant is paid during the day but free after 6pm.

Since new ownership took place, the food is terrible now. I ordered the lunch special, general tao chicken with steamed rice and now they serve what seems to have 3 times fried chicken that is put in the microwave to heat up and then attempts to serve it to customers who dont watch the preperation. This happened to me twice. The second time, I requested fresh chicken but went next door to buy lottery tickets and when I got back (3 minutes later) my food was ready for take out. They did the exact same microwave thing. Its the last time I will go be going there. Never again. Just wanted to warn other diners.

I wish I could give 10 stars! Oshawa Thai Cuisine is somewhere I love to go to with friends, or on a date.When I go with my friends we always get 2-4 dishes and share between them. The portions are great and everything tastes so good.
